Great convenience store. Most things that one would need including a very friendly staff. For anyone complaining about prices being a little high...you pay for convenience people. Of course they would charge a bit more. If you want Wal-Mart prices...spend your money and vacation time on a trip to Charlottetown or Summerside and go to Wal-Mart. I live full time near the Cavendish area and the only thing negative about this lovely store is that it closes during the winters. I miss it a lot then.

I assume the prices are slightly higher due to it being in a tourist area. Had one of their store made chicken salad sandwiches, it was packed full and hard to take out of the container and tasted pretty good to. Friendly staff as well.

Cavendish Tourist Mart
As the only grocery store in Cavendish (that I am aware of) items are unexpectedly well priced! You can get a lot of stuff you need here, including large jugs of water which is good if you are camping or at a cabin with no drinking water. It was also excellent that a liquor store is attached, making it a one-stop shop on the way to your ocean-side cabin or cottage. The liquor store has an awesome selection of PEI craft beers - Snowbird IPA is the best.

This is a very expensive place to buy groceries. The store however is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The selection is limited but you can get the basics as well as a little more.

Helpful and kind staff. Limited options but all the essentials and much more. Can find anything from cereal, bread, bagels, chips, pop, toys, supplies like tin foil, and kitchen supplies, camping, toys, medical, pharmaceutical, and most grocery store needs, alcohol store on site. Miss the local seafood store that's gone. Wish they would bring it back. Lots of parking.

Great spot to find the items you may have forgot. The selection is good. You can get just about everything you need for the kitchen. Fresh meats,vegetables etc. It is a bit pricey but it is here or 30 km to Summerside or Charlottetown. There is a liquor store attached as well. They carry a wide selection of camping supplies too. Worth stopping by.
