Gerald James Lynch Park
This is a small patch of green space, not a park in the traditional sense. A monument, a few benches (in various states of disrepair) and a path down to the river for winter skating or the summer river taxi is about all you'll get here. It's also in very close proximity to the south side of the Osborne street bridge which has been (and seems to continue to be) a fairly popular temporary location for people with nowhere else to go.Considering that, and the fact that a very immaculately kept legislative grounds grounds is available to the public just north of the bridge, I'd have to recommend a hard pass on this one if you're looking for a more traditional park.

This might be a “park” but it’s also a well known refuge for travelling types or the homeless. Seriously no judgement for anyone who has to sleep outside in our city, summer or winter, but it’s not really the best place for a stroll or picnic most of the time. In the winter there’s an access point to the river so I think that changes the dynamic a bit. There’s also the fact it’s just not that well maintained most of the time, and there’s better more spacious spots to walk around just across the river.

This is a park? There are a few benches, sometimes I see shady looking characters there, or people sleeping on the benches. Don't go under the bridge, people sometimes live there and get mad about trespassers""

A very unsafe park. Nice to look at from a car but very unsafe—day or night.

Gerald James Lynch Park
Mostly a place for homeless and drunks to hide and sleep. At times not safe because they are aggressive loud and abnoxious. Also lots of garbage spilled there, flipped shopping carts and debris.
