Swiss Chalet
I fell and the patrons and my brother hurriedly helped me up. My brother had been taking me out to celebrate my birthday. I cut my knee. An ambulance was called. (Cost $40). I Spent 3 1/2. hrs on a hospital gurney. My brother took me back to Swiss Chalet, after I was released, but we ordered take-out this time. No more eat in" my brother says only 'take out'. I love Swiss Chalet....still."

I placed an order for delivery on Friday, February 3, 2023. I ordered wings, which were quite good. I also ordered a side small salad that I was charged $7.49 plus tax. The salad was so much, I would not believe that I was charged this much for it. Not to mention that they gave me calorie wise salad dressing.Very disappointed with this tiny salad at this price point.

Smallest 1/4 chicken ever.And bag salad.My father’s meal came with pieces of fries that were so small, it looked like the bottom of the basket.Not impressed at all!

We were seated at 5:30 pm and no one came by for 30 minutes to take our order. Finally at 6pm the server took our order. By 6:15 we still didn't have our drinks so we got up and left. We walked by our server and told her we were leaving, she just said Oh". It was not busy at all so I don't understand why it would take 30 minutes to take my order and 45 minutes with nothing."

I politely asked to speak with a manager and the hostess was extremely rude and acted like she was the manager herself (which she was not). She gave me attitude and did not want to help me. I love coming to Swiss chalet but this was very disappointing. Not coming back to this location again after being treated with such disrespect.

I requested well done on the grill. When the chicken was served it had no grill lines but the server said it was well done and on the grill.I started to eat it and it was pink inside. I told the server and she kindly told me she would replace it.When the new order came out I was speechless. The server never once came back to ask if everything was okay. She didn’t even give me eye contact. She offered my friend a refill and even a take out container.When I asked for the store number she told me it was on the receipt. If there was 0 star option, it would be a definite 0.

After a complaint from my wife about pour service she was contacted by phone and we were offered two free quarter chicken dinners, not necessarily but appreciated. This was followed by a second call to discuss our delay in our original complaint which was due to a personal matter.The initial apology and generous offer was all that was needed and being questioned a second time was rude. We are not looking for free food and have now turned down their offer and will now visit another location from now on which is saying a lot considering we’ve been eating there since it was located on the west side of Dixie near the old hockey rink, ya we go back a ways in the neighbourhood. Given the lack of diners on a Friday evening and the new earlier closing hours it’s apparent this location isn’t up to the task.

Swiss Chalet at this location has fresh, hot and well cooked rotisserie chicken that was served hot and fresh. I didn't get to use coupon because it wasn't Tuesday but otherwise it was fine. The server was not very friendly nor was she very good with customer service and had no smile or friendly attitude at all.
