On Black Friday I went to look at the possibility of upgrading my phone. So I waited in line, The Salesman said to the couple in front of me, it will take a couple minutes for assistance. Once they were attended to I was in front of the line. I waited for about 10 more minutes. So I'm just standing there. Waiting for assistance. A young lady with her friend entered the store. And almost immediately the sales person walks right past me and asked them if they need any assistance. Then takes them to the desk. I Just stood there for about 2 minutes, didn't want to create a scene so I just left the store unhappy.

On Boxing Day, I visited the Kingsway Virgin store. Even though the place was crowded and other staff members were assisting customers, the manager was free and didn't even want to help me! He was merely attempting to avoid looking at me while on the phone. I had to leave after waiting for ten minutes! telus deserves praise for assisting me right away. I have one concern: Is handling the customers in this way appropriate? I'm not sure who hired him to be a manager.

I am writing this review to thank Robbie for his excellent customer service. I was trying to upgrade my iPhone as the bill was getting to be too expensive. He informed me of a number I can call to discuss the situation with Virgin Mobile. Additionally, he tried to get another phone for me from other stores in the mall that were under the Bell umbrella. This is the type of customer service that makes me value the customer relationship I have with the company. Thank you Robbie.

STAFF WILL HAVE THEIR FRIENDS OVER FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME AND HAVE MUSIC CRANKED SO HIGH THAT YOU CAN HEAR IT IN OTHER STORES. IT DOES NOT LOOK PROFESSIONAL.

Loved the service at the Costco kiosk, it's the phone contract I had an issue with & I'm not sure where to post that. I specifically went to Costco because there is usually an incentive over other places. Sure enough, got a plan with Virgin Plus & a free activation/connection, usually $50.00. Great. First bill contains the $50.00 activation fee, so I online chat & let them know there should be a $50.00 credit. Oh

Friendly and helpful staff who suggested useful options but didn't try and upsell. Due to various offers when we went, we actually ended up with a cheaper plan with our phone upgrades.Wouldn't buy peripherals (e.g. cases) there though - they only have the most expensive brands, so you can get similar products for less than half price elsewhere.I've been a Virgin customer for 10 years now and overall am very impressed with their overall value for money. Reception may not be as good as the major providers in remote areas, but for city use (inc. international travel), I've had no problems.
