Mountainview Excavating

I'm not one to leave poor reviews however I feel it is necessary for our experience with Mountainview Excavating. We contracted Mountainview Excavating to demo our garage as well as pour a concrete pad for us. When they came to complete the demolition they wanted to move our 1950 3 ton unlicensed and uninsured truck on the road to complete their work. As much as we would've preferred for it to stay in our driveway we agreed on the premise that they promised they would put it back. Once completed they chose to keep the truck on the road over the weekend because they were coming back on Monday to frame up for the concrete pad. They also told us that they needed to charge us $500 more for the concrete pad. Over the weekend we agreed to have someone else do the concrete due to the inflated pricing and we informed Mountainview Excavating of this.Now 3 weeks later, I sent an email asking when the truck would be moved back in the driveway as we had neither seen or heard from them. The son called my husband and argued with him about putting the truck back. We were told that we should've had the company who did the concrete put the truck back and another option was for us to provide a winch and some people and he would come help us push it back in the driveway. Unfortunately the other company didn't have the machinery to move it back, nor was it their responsibility, and as Mountainview was very aware of, the brakes are ceased on the truck making pushing it pretty difficult, and we don't own a winch. I sent another email after that stating that they had decided to move the truck to do the demo and it needs to be off the road and put back as it was part of the job. Five days after hearing nothing from them I called and was told I had to deal with the father or the son (that we already dealt with). At this point, one month later, we decided to tell them we want nothing else to do with them.It's unfortunate that we paid them in full actually believing they would return to put the truck back and completing the job. Now that we are sick of their excuses why they shouldn't or can't put it back as well dodging us, we will have to pay someone to put it back.Thank you for a job uncompleted and completely screwing us with our truck abandoned on a city street.
