These guys were great, they arrived right when they were supposed to.We had 4 movers. Each were very nice and treated our belongings with care. All furniture was wrapped and protected. They use floor protection mats as well. They were very hard working and never really stopped till they were done. Would recommend them to anyone. Price was also cheaper than most, and I had quotes from about eight different movers.

Moving is hard, especially when you’ve been evicted and have lots to plan and coordinate all on your own. Metropolitan Movers really took the pressure off. First of all, they answered my call promptly every single time. Compared to a number of other movers I called, the quote was straightforward and clear. They simplified the process for me. Meeting them on moving day was so reassuring. They’re kind, cheerful and incredibly efficient. You can tell they’re very experienced and well coordinated. There were two movers plus the driver/supervisor. They had all the tools and Moving was truly a breeze and took less than I anticipated. I am so grateful for them and highly recommend.

Michael and his crew were great to deal with from start to finish. They handled our move from Vancouver to Victoria with outmost care, attention and professionalism. We would absolutely use them again and refer them to others.

I recently moved using Metropolitan Movers. The moving team gave careful thought and consideration to moving and protecting delicate items, asked and placed everything where requested, reassembled furniture pieces, etc. They were punctual and within time. Overall, professional and very helpful - allowed for a smooth moving day!

Metropolitan Movers and his team gave us absolutely the best service in Vancouver BC. These guys are a real deal. They very carefully wrapped our new couch. We have narrow stairs and they had to move the dressers and heavy credenza down a flight of stairs. Five stars for all their job.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. 0/5 stars.In a nutshell, this is the worst customer experience/service I have ever received in my entire life from the moment the movers arrived, to dealing with customer service to the lack of upper management getting involved at my request post-move after a horrendous experience. A strong word to the CEO/President and CFO of this company- What you advertise on your website is not what I received.A third party company was outsourced for this job (Secure Moving Ltd) and unprofessional, young boys were sent to my condo for a move that was conducted terribly. Nothing wrapped and/or secured. My items all over the place.TV not wrapped in blankets as your website states. Terrible time management and organization. Movers were more than 1 hour late and even asked me to reschedule the move?! When I was on the phone during the move to your customer service department, the head lead told me I should just hang up and help move to get it done more quickly. Unimaginable.I have more than 15+ photos showing what a nightmare this was.Dealing with the dispute of charges post move was even worse. After many back and forth emails with customer service and requesting on several occasions for someone in upper management to contact me to discuss and resolve the service right away, they neglected to do so.I can assure you I am looking into small claims court and consumer advocates/consumer matters with the media.PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY AND DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

I’ve used these guys so many times and they’ve always done such a good job! Nothing has ever, ever been broken in the process of a move with them. My mom used a different moving company for her move a while ago and I’m like girl why lol (those people ended up breaking some of her items) and after my latest move we agreed that if we move again Metropolitan is the only company we’ll use. :) They also went out of their way to call us to help us figure out how to take apart a huge piece of furniture when we were trying to sell it (since they’ve moved it multiple times) they totally didn’t have to do that but were kind enough to! Such awesome guys!

My wife reached out to these guys to organize our exciting move from a single one bedroom condo to our new house in Ladner. We were told someone would call us 1 day before the move to confirm details (which we never got), but no big deal as long as they showed up on time.The movers came at around 9am, and as others have noted we did not get the professionals that are advertised on the website (again, not a big deal).They were both nice guys, introduced themselves to us, and were quite friendly, however it was clear one of the movers (who seemed pretty young and...small) was not very experienced and didn't seem to contribute much. We let them know that in addition to our condo, that there was a storage locker downstairs and various tools in our garage that they needed to account for, as well as a couple of bikes. They acknowledged and kept on moving. I deliberately did not take the furniture apart (one wardrobe closet, one bedframe, and an Ikea couch), as it seemed clear from the website that they can take furniture apart (most of it was relatively straightforward Ikea furniture), and we had everything in boxes ready to go (aside from a few sets of tires and the two bikes). The larger mover spent quite a bit of time struggling with taking apart the furniture (he complained a fair bit about inadequately they were put together by me), and I could hear him stripping screws with his power tool as he went.At this point, we were hitting up on 2pm leaving the condo and we found that they were unable to load a bunch of items from the garage as they had not planned for it - disappointing to hear as I had brought this up with them several times.These guys didn't show up at our house until 4:30, at which point they were starting to unload our items. It was clear at this point that they were running quite behind, and as it had already been nearly 8 hours I told them not to reassemble the furniture (at which point I got another lecture about how poorly they were put together). We found out at this point during unloading:- our mattress had not been properly cared for (or put in a plastic bag), there were numerous marks on the mattress (which was 2 years old, and never moved previously), and snags missing out of the mattress- the movers had lost a clothing drying rack- the movers for some reason had collected 10 boxes of binders from the staircase of our condo, which was not ours, and not near any of the other stuff that we had which was all clearly marked; important space that could have been used to transport the items they had left behind- the handlebar tape on my bicycle had been damaged due to improper handlingBy the time they were done unloading, it was nearly 6pm. Not counting the lunch hour, they had taken 9 hours to move a single bedroom amount of furniture! At this point, the larger mover asked us for payment, and asked for feedback and a tip. My wife (being nice), just gave him a 10% tip. While this was happening, the smaller mover was looking at his phone (turns out he was attending a class for school).So all in all, it came out to a bill of $1100, for a moving process that was painful, unprofessional, and ill-prepared. I ended up having to make an extra trip to both return stuff they grabbed by accident, and make another trip back to grab the things they were not able to move, and this whole process took WAY TOO LONG. Stuff was damaged or lost. While they guys were nice enough, I do not consider satisfactory for moving.We fed this feedback directly back to Metropolitan movers 2 months ago and have never heard back.
