The cleaner showed up and smelt like cigarettes, so much so that I had to leave! Food was still visible on the kitchen floor. Instead of a traditional mop they spray product on the floor and then use a dry mop over it. I wasn't impressed overall.Edited to add: I contacted the company and they sent a new cleaner out right away. Sherri, exceeded our expectations and was amazing! I am very impressed with how the company handled the situation and would work with them again in the future.

On Sept 15 two cleaners came to do a “deep clean” of my 4 bedroom 3 bath house. They showed up and didn’t know what was included in a deep clean. I asked if they should confirm what the service was and they didn’t. I was outside in the yard while they cleaned, and they asked me to come in and see if there was anything they missed….not a single rug or mat was vaccuumed, my hardwood floors were COVERED in a sticky oil, my microwave and stove where covered in a while chemical film. I was really upset and asked them to fix it, and she didn’t know how. None of the tubs or bathrooms were cleaned either, and they were here for 2.5 hours. I gave two stars because after speaking with assistant manager, she personally came back the next day to clean the bathrooms and fix the floors. But overall terrible experience. Would not recommend. It was actually more work for me to fix than hiring them to help. There is now permanent damage to my microwave. So, look elsewhere.

They did an amazing job in our house cleaning. They were prompt and worked quickly. Very friendly and effective cleaners. Cannot wait to book again!

Frank did an incredible job. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to come in my home. We are incredibly thankful for the job he did, it made both of our lives feel a bit of semblance. We've had many cleaners over the years, and the best take the initiative to take care of what needs to be done, rather than staying limited to the requested jobs. This was our experience with Steamates, so I can tell that they will work very well for us.Also, the reminder text, the estimated arrival window, and even requesting feedback after the service has been provided is impressive and shows a sincere interest in customer service. We are very happy with Steamates!

It’s been a while since these guys cleaned for me. I just saw their ad on Kijiji stating that they have “perfect reviews” and nearly spit out my water. They did far from perfect on my home and I never had them back. They claimed they’d do a deep clean but didn’t even move a thing and did an extremely basic clean around stuff. I suspect many of the 5-star reviews are from friends and family or even from themselves. Don’t fall for it!

Steamates has a very professional staff who were on time and did an amazing job at cleaning. I had reached out to Mr.karim in a desperate situation and he was swift with calls and emails. He kindly made time for me and moved around already booked appointments on their schedule to fit me in. Friendly staff and good management. Very satisfied customer!
