Stumbled upon this place by coincidence, but so glad that my wife and I went here for dinner. The food legit reminded me of a typical hotel in southern India. We ordered an idli-sambhar, masala dosa, medu-wada sambhar and lastly one filter kaapi (coffee). The chutneys they served: coriander chutney, tomato chutney, and coconut chutney were delicious. The price per person is decent for the quantity and taste they offer. Easily one of my favorite places in Toronto.

Perfect dosa with perfect sambar and good chutneys. Parotta with salna is great as well. Really liked the chicken sukka too.Milagai bajji was alright, but I wish they would serve chutneys with it instead of tomato ketchup and the tangy tamarind based dip.The bad part was the filter coffee. It was watery and bitter, more like a hybrid of Madras filter coffee and American coffee.Also, we went on Sunday afternoon and it was super crowded. Service was not as fast as you would expect.

Stopped off on a whim but was pleasantly surprised by the flavor portions and taste of everything. Was not too spicy but it did creep up on you. The Dosa was amazing and the Sagg chicken was great. Wife liked the butter chicken and overall was very happy with the food. The staff was very nice helpful

Great place in North York to taste some great south Indian food. A little far from major intersections but worth the drive to this place. The food is reasonably priced and portions are reasonable as well.We tried several types of kottu. Chicken, egg, and mutton kotthu. All 3 kottus were great. Reasonable amount of meat and vegetables are added to the kottu. The kottu is a dry version and I personally loved it. The rotis were thinly cut and the spices were perfectly mixed. You can adjust the spice levels.I bought a curry and it was ok. The spice levels were on the spot but taste was not the greatest. But it was not bad as well. I believe te amount of meat in the dish was slighlty lower compared to the price.Biriyani was good. The taste was slighlty light. They have several types of biriyanis.The menu it self is comprehensive, hence there are a lot of choices. The only negative point for them was the waiting time. We have to wait for 1 hour plus for a small order. This tell me food is cooked fresh but still I think waitig times were not very good. Since they opened recently this might be the reason.

Stopped in here on our way back to Barrie for some dinner. The food was outstanding, the service was friendly and quick, and we left absolutely stuffed.Thank you for an amazing, authentic dinner!

Best taste of Tamil Nadu food. Briyani and Parota Quantity felt apt for 2 people. Service was good too. But felt they are quite under staffed. They can’t handle full crowd with the limited staff.

Home made and fresh south indian dishes served piping hot. Dont forget to mention your spice level.We went again for lunch and the taste was excellent. Always maintaining the same taste and quality. Keep going!!PS: wait time- ofcourse you need to wait for freshly made food. They will prepare food only after taking orders and yes, that's how we get it fresh and super healthy!!

Amazing South Indian food!!!! We decided to try this place in without any prior reviews. It is safe to say we weren’t disappointed. The food is just fuel for your Soul. I highly recommend this place.

Finally a restaurant in this area which serves awesome South Indian food. The food is freshly made and is top notch quality.We had Rasam, Medu Wada, Podi Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, Rawa Kesari.Dosa’s are massive, Medu Wada were hot & crispy, Rasam was served hot and Rawa Kesari was decent. Unlimited Sambhar, 3 chutney’s (Coconut, Coriander, Tomato) was served.Definitely worth visiting again to satisfy taste buds.

When you eat here, be prepared to eat authentic South Indian food cooked by chefs from South India. We wanted medium heat and that is exactly what we got, not bland but also not super hot. The location is not the best and the setting is humble but then again, the prices are the lowest you'll find anywhere for delicious food. Customers started coming in as soon as the restaurant opened today, telling me that people can't wait for this food. Without any question, their dosas were excellent, but we loved their rava uppama as well. I loved their sambar as it had the right flavourings. It could've used some more vegetables but I believe their version is more authentic. You get 3 chutneys (red, white, and green) but I'm really not crazy about their red chutney, maybe it's me. I believe that one should try this newer place out. I'm local and could eat this food every day.
