We came here to stay in August only for a couple nights. The views and site were nice, but that is where it ends. Note to all, if you have friends and or family that you want to visit you, they charge you $12/per person per day to come in. Also, if you want them to go swimming they charge them an additional $7/pp to use the pool. This I feel is a complete ripoff! I paid full price for a fully serviced lot, however, it was on a 10% grade, no matter what I tried was unable to level the motorhome short of putting 10 of blocks under one end. If you decide to try out this campground be sure to carry alot of extra money. We will not come back to this campground. The mini golf is a complete dump. We wondered why it was so quiet around

This is such a lovely warm community of people. The owners are genuine and run a great operation. We booked a site with them for two nights as we had a wedding in the area. Our stay was on the tailend of a week of camping in a pop up tent trailer and we were tired. We had a three year old and a nine month old in tow. There were no issues getting our site and organized. It’s evident that it’s a community with people that stay the entire season with them year over year. Everyone is friendly. We didn’t have any firewood and got such a cold snap the two nights we were there. The first night people told us where their own wood was and to help ourselves. The second night residents came buy each sharing some of their wood and leaving it by our fire.I can’t say enough nice things about this place and would gladly visit again.Their restaurant is fabulous and they have an enormous kids play area with toys etcThank you Wendy, Kelly and Natalie (and residents) for welcoming some weary campers for a few nights.

A real seasonal RV community, small and well-run. Emphasize community" - both by efforts of the owner & family and of the residents. After your first week you'll have friends all over the park

Very disappointed in this campground. The playground was nice as was the pool however the lake smells of dead fish; there wasn’t a single person swimming on a hot day. My 89 year old mother in law came to visit the great grandkids and was charged 12$ to enter the grounds and another 7$ to enter the pool area even though she didn’t swim. You have to sign in every time you enter the pool even if you are staying there. We go to lots of campgrounds and this rule exists nowhere else. My son then dropped by and yup, another 19$ plus tax for his half hour visit . A very embarrassing situation for my family. We will never go back.

visited summer of 2020, observed a few people disregarding the children and other families at the park. They were clearly drunk, high, very loud. A group gathered in one of the larger trailer homes near the water, passing marijuana paraphernalia amongst one another...it could be smelled from the trailer I was at. It occurred almost nightly.I will not return to this campground, clearly NO one sets rules or observes them.Yes, marijuana is legal, but, it can be disrespectful having parties and disturbing others with smell that others may not appreciate and they got louder as the night went on. Again, no one seems to have guidelines or abides, if any. I suggest the owners watch out for this in future, as the couple I knew there are contemplating moving out and speak to many others.Trailer park owner, I suggest if this is read, to observe with the current covid protocol as well, if guests are not allowed, these parties near the water should not be happening, there are limitations, as well as respect from these partiers. They seemed to be well into their 50's, shameful that they don't have respect by that age group.

We have been camping here since 2011. They have the largest lots we have ever seen at any other camp site. It is close to all amenities, we are 5 minutes away from Carleton Place, 15 minutes from Almonte. The camp is very family oriented, lots of activities for both children and adults. Including annual golf tournament, with live entertainment, as well as very popular clean pool. Staff is very friendly and always accommodating, but also will put there foot down when needed, help to keep the riffraff away. Being a seasonal camper I would not want it any other way, this campsite is well taken care, bathrooms are always clean and grass is always cut. Very fun and safe place to bring children and grand children when they come to visit us! We are very happy here and will be staying for as long as we are able to camp! Thank you to the wonderful staff for another great year! Janis and Jerry

Horrible resort, lots of ignorant campers! A handful are nice ones but the old, rude ones ruin the entire experience. Upper management is an absolute joke! Making up rules on the fly and making people tear down decades worth of work and upgrades done to their lots because of liability". Forced lakefront campers to remove their docks from the water due to "liability". Forced campers to remove add-a-rooms constructed in previous years because they weren't constructed by a small list of vendors that killam allows you purchase through. Septic leaks from the holding tanks as they are all cracked underground
