This place has something for everyone.Inside you will find a big space with unique decor.The customer service was great, even though it was really busy we always got a server checking on us.It has an original twist on food and authentic plate names.The food was good, though they should improve the quality and quantity of the salads.If you love milkshakes and have a sweet tooth, this is the place to try.

This was a legitimately fun family experience! We went for Saturday brunch - were seated promptly and had fast and fun service (including one of the managers checking on the experience at the end). The kids had shakes (Cookie Monster and S’Mores) and stacks of pancakes, which didn’t only look decadent, they were also really tasty. Of course these things are intimidating and impossible to finish, but fun to discover and share - be mindful that those portion sizes are no joke. We left with boxes, ducks and big smiles. We just wish they had paper menus instead of QR only (I know, I know) - but their menu is a lot to take in and tough to navigate with a suboptimal mobile version :)

We made reservations for a friend's birthday on a Saturday night, waited about 10 minutes to be seated which I feel is standard for the time of day and day of the week. Our server had a poor attitude. While pouring my drink he spilled some of it, did not acknowledge it or attempt to clean it up, I had to ask for napkins to then place it under my glass. The appetizer platter and main dishes took quite some time to come out and everything was under room temperature as if it had been sitting for a while before being brought to our table. Our server rarely came to our table and we had to ask two different waitstaff to bring us our bill. My overall experience was very poor and I will not be returning.

This place was a treat! Food was great! The staff was amazing and I didn’t realize you get a whole show lol twerking and dancing and all that jazz.

We had the Best time for my son's 12th Birthday. Yes, it is pricey, but that was expected. All the food/specialty drinks were delicious. Our server was great. Our favorite part was the performance they did when they brought out my son's dessert with the sparkler. They turned the music up loud and did a dance! It was so cool! The atmosphere is great. Definitely recommend

First time here and we will definitely be back!!! Love the ambiance and aesthetics of this place, very classy and chill at the same time! The food was great, although hubby and I just went here for some desert we ended up getting some food too. Hubby & I shared the cookie jar sundae and was very pleased! We will be back, I highly recommend this place

I’ve been wanting to visit Sugar Factory for years so I was super excited when they finally opened a location in Detroit. It’s located in Campus Martius, in the Compuware building, in the space where Hard Rock Cafe used to be.The restaurant itself is quite a bit smaller than I expected, but had quite a few tables of all different sizes. The restaurant is very cute and definitely TikTok and Instagramamble, I can definitely see why the younger crowd likes it. They’re famous for selling lollipops that you can buy refills for (the sticks are blinged out and I think the candy screws on and off—don’t quote me), their huge goblet drinks and the ambiance. I got the shrimp Alfredo and was pleasantly surprised. It was a bit on the pricier end for how much food you got, but it actually had quite a few decent sized-shrimp in it. I also got the unicorn hot chocolate. It’s a super-decadent pink white hot chocolate with white chocolate, sprinkles and marshmallows in it. I mean this thing was SWEET. The person who was with me got a hamburger and I remember thinking to myself that it looked super dry, but I didn’t say anything. He never complains about food at restaurants or sends things back, but he sent this back. I mean, it was like a hockey puck and totally inedible. I believe he ended up getting a club sandwich as a replacement. It was my birthday so I got a few Neapolitan ice cream with a sparkler that was cute. If you order one of their huge, $100 sundaes, the servers come out and do a whole choreographed dance that was pretty entertaining. Another table ordered that and it was fun to watch.Cute restaurant for sure and definitely a great place for selfies and aesthetically-pleasing dishes. Please don’t come here with the expectation of the most amazing food ever. I would come back if invited, but wouldn’t go out of my way to go here again. I can definitely see this as a place for the TikTok girlies. Lots of places to take cute selfies and what-not.

The was the best experience ever. Lonnie was a great server/bartender and had excellent service. The hostess started are experience with a wonderful greeting. Then the front of the house manger Joseph was awesome. The food was great. Lonnie took care of us from the start to we finished. We will be back.

I had a great time with my family at this location. The staff could not have been more friendly. The food was outstanding and cooked specifically to each request. Special shout out to our server Yahshay (ask for her - you will not be disappointed). Additional shout out to the bartender Lonnie and another great team member Portia.The only thing to be aware of is the costs of the specialty drinks and the retail space (the store up front). Very cool items, but the prices can be a sticker shock, especially after paying for your food. Be advised that the allure may be hard to resist.Overall, I was happy to bring my family to enjoy this experience. Having a great brand and product is one thing, but having the people level-up everything with their personality and service is another.

Great ambiance! That’s the best thing I can say about this place. The food is mediocre and there seems to be more focus on aesthetics than actual service. Took my bro here for his 20th birthday. We got there around 9:30pm and didn’t leave close to 1am. If I return I will sit at the bar and have a drink….that’s about it.
