They are selling damaged IKEA LACK tables for a buck more than they cost new.The new self checkout adds another layer of hell to this process. It is frustrating that the self checkout is card only, I think the line for the single cashier reached 10 deep at one point.

This store made me a certified Thriftie. The best part of this store is the massive variety of items you can get from here such as furniture, electronics, jewelry and especially clothes. I spend roughly 3 hours in the store evertime I shop there.

A large selection of merchandise from books to clothing to furniture to toys. The prices are pretty high for donated clothing (i.e. $30+ for a North Face hoodie). Every item has its section, so it’s relatively well organized. During Halloween, they have a good sized costume section. A fun store to just browse around and find good deals.

A huge store with tons of stuff. Easy self-checkout. Check the return policy if you're buying some things, like computer mice. Effectively non-returnable.

They do not guarantee their electronics.Buy it (often at very close to the same as retail) bring it home.... it is DOA. Sorry!...And make no mistake this is a huge American Conglomerate that works for profit... (that profit leaves this province...People!)Instead go to MISSION MART (they guarantee their electronics for a week and then if DOA will give you store credit....AND the profits go towards Homeless Shelters in Nova Scotia! Win-win)Also SPCA in Burnside is a small but mighty Thrift shop!Money is tight... so we ALL need to spend wisely!

Still enjoy VV as a trifting place, but wish they would bring fotting rooms back. Main reason, their prices have gone up and it matters when shopping to buy only right stuff. In the past, when prices were low anf thrifty it was rasier to fill the cart pay take it home anf be ok with itrms yhat are a miss, but now, when tshirt cost the same as buting new...

If I could give less than one star to Value Village as a company I would. Prices are very high for items they get donated to them for free, you cannot try any clothes on and cannot return anything if it doesn't fit, doesn't work, missing pieces ect... you can only exchange for same day purchase within 2 weeks. There is no excuse for this greedy policy, I strongly advise avoiding.
