The Mufflerman - Strathroy

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. Terrible experience!Do not bring your car here for safety they are a rip off. They were trying to charge me over a $1000k for many things that weren’t even needed for my car.They refused to pass safety without repairing over $1000k of fake repairs.I don’t recommend this place at all.I went somewhere else and they safety my car without all these things only minor things that cost $150.A TOTAL SCAM!

Very dissatisfied with service. Brought vehicle in, told them one caliper and disc had recently been replaced. Needed the opposite side caliper and disc replaced and new pads. Tried to tell me I needed all new on the back. Doubt they even had time to inspect it before they gave me the quote. Won't be back.

Was not very happy with service. Took my car in for a “loud airplane noise”, i thought maybe the muffler needed repair and if not would like to know what is causing it. They inspected it and said it was a exhaust gasket that needed replacing- they had to order the part so I came back a few weeks later once the part was in and had it all fixed up to drive away and still have the very loud airplane noise. Called back with my findings and i went back in and they took it for a test drive and realized it was actually the bearings. Not sure why test drive wasn’t done on the initial assessment but i was also not thrilled to have paid for something that wasn’t even a big issue, and did not fix my initial problem. Took my car elsewhere and got quoted less for the bearing replacement from a reputable shop. Will never be back.

Awesome service at a very reasonable price. In and out in 25 minutes. Only did what I asked and no pressure to do anything else. My granddaughter’s car goes in tomorrow for repairs on the exhaust, no hesitation whatsoever. Great work from front desk to techs

I had a car problem and arrived unexpectedly (no appointment). Henry said not to worry, they would find time to check it out. They did, they found the problem, got the parts need and had me back on the road by 5. Awesome! They are so helpful, reassuring and friendly. Thank you so much! I was so scared when I drove in, and so relaxed, and happy, that I would be safe driving, my car when I left.

Their work is fine but overpriced. Quoted me 2 hours labour for tie rod ends which take 30 min to install. There's more honest shops out there

I am a long-time customer of the Strathroy Mufflerman location. I've been very satisfied by the service I've received for multiple vehicles. I was greatly disappointed to learn that Henry will be retiring in the near future but I am confident in the staff he has assembled. I sincerely hope the Mufflerman corporation will promote from within and continue the quality personal service tradition that Henry has built over all these years.

They were great fast service and able to fit me in. I definitely recommend this location if you need an pil change or a fix in your vehicle !
