Chartwell Bayview Retirement Residence

As a contractor who regularly visits this Retirement Community for work, I have to say it is top-notch. The home is always clean and smells great and this includes the great food. The staff and managers are always pleasant and inviting. The grounds are always well cared for and the attention to detail is spot on. When my mom gets to the retirement age, The Bayview will definitely be on our short list of potential homes.

Chartwell Bayview Retirement has been a great place to work as it is a kind and friendly atmosphere. I have worked here for over 10 years as a PSW and would highly recommend anyones loved ones to live here. In all the years I have been here, the residents have become family to me and I am looking forward to another 10 years!

I have worked at Chartwell for just over 4 years. I have moved up in positions from a cook to the Food Service Manager. I have had my grandmother living here and I absolutely love it here. I like to do fun activities for the Residents and try to make their days as much fun as possible. I really like the atmosphere here at Bayview. We have wild life to look at, the lovely bay to watch the boats go by, and we have a walking trail all around. I hope to stay at Bayview and grow within the company.

My father in-law has been living at Bayview for more than 5 years now and has always been treated very well by the staff. So when it came time for my parents to look for respite care Bayview was our first choice. Luckily Bayview was able to accommodate my parents in September. Unfortunately dad passed away shortly after entering Bayview and mom's mobilities issue worsened. The staff at Bayview rallied behind us in our time of need and went above and beyond to make our mothers stay as enjoyable as possible while waiting for a LTC bed. I simply can't say enough about the staff at Bayview. Due to her mobility issue mom didn't take advantage of the numerous actives provided by the facility, however I do know dad really enjoyed the music provided in the one Friday happy hour he was able to attend. The staff always treat my parents with the grace and respect they deserved. The building is clean and well maintained, staff are helpful, respective and cheery. The meals are very well prepared and tasty and there always seems to be ice cream. I would not hesitate to recommend Chartwell Bayview Retirement Residence to any one seeking assisted living accommodations.Ross

I frequent Chartwell Retirement Residence as a general contractor to assist with regular maintenance and repairs. The staff at Chartwell Belleville work passionately and efficiently to maintain the building and surrounding grounds, they're a pleasure to work with. I look forward to my visits, being greeted at the door by Margie and conversing with residents in the halls is a welcome change from my typical day to day. They maintain a happy, active atmosphere and the food smells fantastic.

Especially impressed with Health and wellness manager Brett, kitchen , maintenance and clerical staff. Made my experience dealing with them warm, inviting and cordial. Rooms and common areas are all incredibly clean and well maintained. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful residence to anyone.

I have had the great pleasure to work at Chartwell Bayview for over a year now as the Health & Wellness Manager. The staff and managers are great to work with and always put the residents first. This is an amazing place to work and great environment to work in. I enjoy coming to work everyday to see the residents and care for them. Looking forward to working here for many years to come!

I provide musical entertainment for seniors. I always enjoy performing at Chartwell Bayview. The staff and residents are very welcoming and their events are always well organized. Tosha Bavis, the Lifestyle & Program Manager, is a pleasure to work with and is very engaging with the residents. Her energy and enthusiasm make the event more enjoyable for all.
