Drooped my daughter at the canons leisure and wanted a coffee but it was around 10:50 am. I asked if I was too late for breakfast but the gentleman at the door said its ok for me to have breakfast.There were sausages and I asked what meat is that. Unfortunately I don't eat pork and the lady chef asked me if she can get me some veg sausages. It was very kind of her , as it was near closing time for breakfast and she did not have to do that for me. But I had a great experience and thanks to the lady chef for taking care of me. Food was nice and atmosphere was relaxing.Well done to the team!Jas

Worst experience ever!First time in this place, I didn't know how it works and nobody explained me what to do.I discovered by myself that is a self service and I asked the chef to give me some pork. I saw some sausages and I asked the chef to give me some, but you can get them only with the king size, but obviously nobody explained me that.Zero service, I don't even know why there are so many waiters.Waitresses at times are quite rude as well.Food quality it's ok, probably average I'll say.The only good thing is that the place is cheap.

It was poor, mash so hard and dry, stuffing was like a brick, peas were hard but when I asked for fresh cabbage did get it.... usually food is very good but this visit was disappointing. Veg choice could have been better. On the good side staff were very helpful and friendly. Maybe next time will be better...

Service was very slow, it was quiet, but it still took 25 minutes for our initial server to take our order. Getting my starter served also took an inordinately long time. Both times it felt like we had been forgotten & we had to get our severs attention rather than the service being forthcoming.My daughter wasn't told to just go up to the carvery whenever she was ready, there seemed to be a presumption that we knew how the system worked ( but we didn't & only worked it out from watching what other diners did). The servers need to ask diner's if they have visited before & know what to do.My daughter said the beef was very fatty & inedible. It seemed like very low quality meat.I was served butter with my starter (soup) despite ordering vegan food & no alternative was offered when I said I didn't eat dairy. Additionally, I didn't expect the soup to be served with a slice of basic, white sliced bread. A roll would be more appropriate.The man who works front of house deserves a special mention. He was very friendly & helpful & is a real asset to the company. Our second server was also efficient & polite

The only thing that needs improving are the chairs and tables as they were a bit tatty.However, the food and service were knock out! They managed my dietary requirements/allergy beautifully. The food was delicious and the team were friendly and efficient.10/10 will be back again.It was my sisters first time visiting a Toby car very and she was blown away at the quality of food for the price on offer.

Staff were really nice and hard working and the food was great. It was extremely busy so the toilets were in a bad mess and full of flies. Sadly some of the clientele frequenting the once fine establishment looked like they had been heavily drinking and/or on some other drugs… having prebooked I would have thought we’d get a nice corner that we reserved but we were sadly herded like cattle to the slaughter in the middle of what felt like the slaughter, it was every man woman child cow and moose for himself at that stage…

This is one of our favourite places to eat! Food is always good. Staff are very friendly and nice. Chelsey our waitress yesterday was amazing, friendly, bubbly, very attentive and kept making sure we were ok and had everything we needed!!

Oh, what a delightful dining experience! The food was absolutely scrumptious, prepared with a generous touch by the chef. But that's not all - Jack, our amazing and fun-loving staff, provided service that was out of this world! So if you're looking for a great time with delicious food and a friendly atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

This place is amazing value for money. Every Time we come here we always love the food which is cooked fresh everyday. Service is usually good and the atmosphere is nice too.
