Forest Hills Cabins and RV Park

We were three seniors staying at one of the two bedroom cabins for 3 nights. We absolutely loved the place. Hot tub was amazing with even a heated floor pad. Very enjoyable in -10 weather. Great BBQ.Extremely comfortable beds, all linens supplied. Everything you need in the kitchen. Roads kept very clear of snow. We would definitely recommend.

Very nice cabins with a secluded feel. Cabin was very clean and tidy. Went just after Christmas and it was still decorated which was a nice touch. The small cabins would be a little cramped if you had more than 4 people. For just 2 people it is nice and cozy. Hot tub was a very nice touch and worked great and was nice and clean. The heated mat going to the hot tub was frozen and covered in ice, not sure if it was broken or just couldn’t keep up with the -30 degrees temperatures. Overall it was a great getaway and would definitely recommend it and we plan to go back.

Wonderful place, beautiful country, friendly service. Very clean water direct from the processing plant. 30A and 50A service. Dump station. Back-in and pull-through sites. Very friendly staff and campers. Dog friendly. Definitely recommend.

The lady taking reservations need more training. She was unprofessional. She accused my kid of leaving a mess and making noise when it was people in another cabin. She is refusing to give me back my $200 deposit. Do not appreciate her not listening to me when I tried to explain and basically accused me of lying even though she is not around there all weeked. I eventually got my $200 deposit back a couple weeks later. Gratful for that.

Really enjoyed our stay at the cabins. Very clean and comfortable and quiet. Hot tub is super clean as well. Even the coffee provided was good and would love it every day! I hope the prices don't go up and I think off season prices should maybe be after the May long. But regardless, plan on going back.

What a great little get away! Cabins were fantastic with all amenities included. Hot tub had clean water and heated matts on the deck for colder weather. Beds were super comfy as well! Management was very friendly and helpful as well as we had planned this back in April before restrictions hit again. We were able to move our date back to October with no extra charges.

Ive been staying at these cabins for a few years, multiple times per year. They recently changed over management, and alot has changed which impacted my recent stay negatively. The booking process was different and confusing. When we showed up (we also called and informed them the time wed be there), we show up to a ICE COLD hot tub. They informed us that it wasnt going to be hot until 9 or 10 at night. It didnt heat up to the right temp until 10:45. Thats almost 7 hours after check in….I texted the number they asked me to text and was ignored when i indicated the TV wasnt working while we were waiting for the hot tub to heat up. We go to the casino and the lady who i was texting was there drinking and gambling.The next morning i texted again as we needed new towels and toilet paper as the towels were all soaked and we were only give one roll of toilet paper. They responded saying someone would he there later. I went to carberry to buy toilet paper.We finally go back later around dinner to ask for more towels and my friend was basically accused of stealing towels and they felt the need to ask “how many we had and why we needed them…. Also saying they keep an inventory of towels”.Im really upset with the new management and service this past weekend. Warren always did such an amazing job as the old manager - even brought my jacket to brandon once when i left it there. Thinking ill be going elsewhere for my staycations from now on… especially as we were not offered any sort of resolution after i requested an explanation.

Our whole experience with the cabins - from booking, checking in, stay and check out - was EXCELLENT!Warren was great to book with. Very patient with some changes I had to make and let us know when there was an opportunity to extend our stay. He also let us check in early so our babies could have their proper nap time!We were 2 adults and 4 kids!! We stayed in the small cabin and were cozy but comfy :) For sure the bigger cabin would have been roomier, but it did not fit our schedule. The cabin was SOOOO cute and cozy. Climate is yours to control. Cabins had everything you could need and beds were very comfy!And the hot tub - YES! The patio with BBQ, chairs and hot tub was a perfect way to spend the evening. Hot tub was super clear and clean - we were in it every night. Fire pit and picnic table were lovely and off to the side - wood provided.Brian - the maintenance guy - was also fantastic. We did have a hiccup with the hot tub and he took care of it right away, and even fixed my kid's obviously broken bike, while we were out one day.Proximity to the park is perfect - tons to do (DO THE WAGON RIDE in Spirit Sands!) and we loved walking to the casino in the evenings.Overall, I would not have changed a thing - we loved our experience and will absolutely be back.

There doesn't appear to be any rules regarding quiet times which meant that we listened to music blaring away at 2 a.m.We also had to contend with issues regarding RVer's showing up MUCH too early for their campsite reservation. We felt pressured to pack up our campsite long before the normal checkout. There isn't much fun in breaking camp while the next group stares you down an hour before your time is up.The firewood we purchased was wet and punky yet we saw a huge stack of dry wood under a lean-to on the owners driveway. ???On the plus side, the water and electricity hook-ups gave us no troubles.We'll be looking elsewhere next time.
