I had so much trouble findjng this place because Google maps dinked me around. Calldd the location and they tried very hard to get me there. Worked with me quickly and seemed to feel bad that insurance was costing me what it did, but BC shot us all in the foot so, not really their fault.

Be very careful of who you get as an insurance agent here.At least one of the employees who I have repeatedly been helped by was very nice, helpful, and did her job wonderfully.Every other employee however, I've felt like I've needed to try to explain to them how to do their job, as others have described, I have all of a sudden lost my discount (only for the good employee to come over and fix the problem after me making an issue), or was simply being treated poorly, definitely not like a customer, or have just been given the wrong information, and when I confronted the employee about it, she had no remorse, she just kept repeating that the misinformation is what she had been told.

Shelley has been my agent for a very long time. If you need a very helpful person and pleasant experience, ask for Shelley. She’s the best!

While Johnston Meier Insurance may portray as a good insurance company an employee there can ruin the name of the company drastically. I am not one for pointing individuals out and I really don't want to in this post. The employee that works at this location should know who I am talking about and hopefully change her approach. I came to her with good faith and did everything she asked me to do which meant change brokers and she still treated me with disrespect. She was very rude, unprofessional, inexperienced, and uneducated in the area of helping me with my business insurance. I am very upset about her approach and hopefully going forward she changes for the betterment of her clients.

Fast service, friendly staff

The service was poor. Staff of that location are lack of knowledge of auto plan . I rent out my RV. The staff demanded my renter's Canadian address. The renter came from USA and had no Canadian address. I switched to another auto insurance agent close by. No such question was asked.

Received wonderful service from Darlene, who went above and beyond to try and sort the automobile transfer issues I was having with ICBC. She didn't give up, and worked her way up to the legal department where we finally got the answer we needed. Excellent knowledge and very understanding.

Last month there was an employee at Austin branch who messed up my work which resulted in losing my $254 refund from ICBC the agent had no enough knowledge about ICBC insurance policies and had very bad customer service.But after I discussed the issue with Mr.Johnston he contacted the Austin branch office for me and they took responsibility for their mistake and provided me with $200 Visa gift car and it was less from my actual refund but I’m happy with the service.I would like to say thank you to Mr. Johnston for helping me out to solve this Issues. I changed my rating reviews from 1 star to 4 stars as the Austin branch employees aren’t very friendly otherwise would go for 5 stars.Thank you for the service!

The staff always welcome the person entering the office. There always above and beyond explanations, information, and respect every minute you are there.
