Originally I contacted Dennis about a tree in my front yard that had died and needed removing. He arrived on time, was extremely professional, explained everything that would be done and why, and most importantly, demonstrated an impressive knowledge of safety protocols when removing a tree. Make no mistake, this is not some fly by night guy who just climbs up your tree and starts chain sawing- Dennis is the real deal, and more than qualified to perform the work he does. He removed all the debris, and billed me for exactly the quote he gave me, which inspired me to hire him again to lay sod in the area where the tree was. He again showed up on time, and did a very neat trick of “tucking in” the edges of the sod to make sure they didn't dry out and die- the mark of a professional who takes pride in his work and a job well done. He explained how to properly care for the newly laid sod, and has checked in on me twice to see how it has taken. This amazing work is why I hired him for a problem I had with my hose faucet. Dennis explained to me what the problem was, offered 3 options for addressing the issue, and then when I indicated I agreed replacing it was the best idea, went and got me a new faucet and had me watering my plants in less than an hour! He is a truly fantastic guy and honorable businessman, and I can't wait to hire him to put in new flooring and custom closets/shelving. Sooke is lucky to have him!
