ICALC Learning Centre

My son has taking Dr.Li ‘s math course since last summer. Dr .Li has great teaching skills and communication skills with students. He teaches students how to master skills , and always points out what are very important, and always remind students note taking. He check homework before class, and always encourage students try best to finish homework. Before class and end of class, he always study Proverbs with students together.

Great place for kids to study Math, English and Python. My daughter and son have been studying in this learning centre for few years. They have made great improvements. Especially my daughter, she got a perfect score in the BCC math contest in November this year. Great learning environment, Great resources, and a group of very committed teachers.

My son went to ICALC learning centre three years ago, he has been there since then, and really like the principle, Dr(math). Mark Li's contest math series, Mr. Li is such a great teacher, he teaches more mathmatical methods and logical thinking than solving the single problem. After 3 years learning, my son is learnng the intermediate algebra now, though very challenge for a G8 child, he determines to keep up because Mr. Mark Li is so full of wisdom and very humble. my son become more and more confident in math, he always tells Mr. LI really a master of math, passionate and patient, his teaching notes help students understanding well.Thank you Mr. Li, thank you ICALC!!!

My daughter (grade 1) improved her English alot after joining the public English Speaking. Now she loves reading and will writing a summary after a book.She loves 1. English first,2. Scratching 3. Math (the first three are all from this center. ) 4. piano 5. Skating, 6 Swimming, 7. painting... Dancing is 2nd last, Mandarin is last. I hope this center will have Fun and academic Mandarin classes for her too.

My son is in 4th grade now, he started to take English Writing course in ICALC since August last year. All the teachers here are very professional and the people I talked to are very nice and helpful. My son was not interested in writing classes before here. Since the first class, he stared to like writing, the class last 1 and half hour, it’s so surprise he is able to focus on the whole entire class, and always laughing and answering the teacher’s questions. His writing skills improves dramatically. Most importantly, he starts to enjoy writing, thanks for Ms. Ellie and Ms. Rosemerry!

My son likes the place a lot. Thanks MR. Li, my son's math improved dramatically over three months. This summer, he is also taking Scratch and Python with Emma, and we never saw he has such passion on any another classes. Thank you for providing these fabulous classes, our son is lucky to be taught by such caring and knowledgeable teachers in iCalc.

My son took math and computer programming classes at ICALC. The teachers are great and my son has learned a lot from them.

Amazing school! My 11 year old daughter is taking Maths and Python here. Teachers are very nice and responsible. They care about the kids and have good communication with the parents. The classes helped my daughter a lot! Will definitely recommend the school to my friends!

My son started his Python class since he was in Gr 7, and he is now also taking math class here. In the past one to two years, my son got a lot help from here and made progresses in both math and Python. He was very proud of his math progress since he got his grade's 2nd place in a math contest. In this summer, he is heading to one more fun course: Unity. I wish he can enjoy his experience with the friendly teachers and peers in ICalc!
