Riverbank Rentals

What a great company! Owner is super sweet and helpful - location is perfect for an easy paddle on the Napanee River. We rented 2 SUP's for 2 hours - very reasonable pricing and a really lovely experience - we'll be back!

Since trying kayaking for the first time, I've been looking for rentals in the area and was super pumped to find out that Riverbank Rentals had opened!We were already travelling to Napanee, so we added this stop to our plans! You can rent beginner friendly kayaks, SUP boards and paddle boats (PBs owned/maintained by the restaurant)We paddled up to Springside Park - careful not to get too close to the falls or get distracted as there are rocks just under the surface of the water. Mike almost hit one while trying to avoid another... I hung back and snapped pictures - that seemed safe! - but still at 250 feet back from the visible rocks, there were still come lurking.Paddling back down under the bridge and down the river takes you through some breathtaking views - and no matter how hot and still the air is in town, there always seems to be a breeze coming off the river.We paddled along the edge of the boating channel and the lily pads, crossed and came back along the other side - we'd stayed out almost two hours on the easy river!Boaters are very kind and slow for the kayaks, paddle boats and SUP paddlers.

GOOD OPERATION

Fantastic spot to rent paddleboats SUP boards or kayaks only steps from Downtown Napanee. Awesome idea for a family road trip or day trip to L&A County. We had a blast!
