Dr Uzma Erum

She didn't listen to my severe knee problems I was totally paralyzed for one year,finally I requested to my family Dr to Change the Doctor and now with the treatment from new Doctor I'm 100% fit.

She has been my dr for just over a year, and she has helped me with my psoriatic arthritis diagnosis and got me a dermatologist to help with my plaque psoriasis, overall she has been so great with my care and always open to different meds when one thing isn't working. Very thankful for her because I got my diagnosis from her and now my pain is manageable.

Dr.Erum and her clinic has been the worst experience of my life.1) the receptionist barely picks up the call and if you’re lucky and she has picked up, she may/may not drop the message you have to Dr.Erum.2)Dr.Erum has dismissed most of my symtoms saying it’s not auto immune related meanwhile my GP and Ophthalmologist and a new rheumatologist have confirmed they are symtoms due to my auto immune. I am not sure if she is competent enough to be dealing with patients suffering from auto immune.3) Dr.Erum doesn’t call back during an emergency. I called her during a flare and waited for a whole week expecting a call back. She didn’t call me at all. I called every week after that to see if she can call back respecting her “busy” schedule. I got a call back after 2 months when I told her receptionist I will file an official complaint. I don’t think Dr.Erum is empathetic towards her patients.4) she forgot the dosage of medications she prescribed me or maybe didn’t read her own comments on the file? and everytime kept telling me to increase the dosage of medication to the dosage she already has increased it to.5) I asked her for any home remedies and tips to manage and she gave me prednisone and no tips. I actually joined a autoimmune community online and have been using tips from them.It’s terrible to have to resort to GOOGLE instead of a doc. It’s a shame when people suffering from auto immune have to go through this terrible experience with their doctors. My health state has worsened due to the lack of care provided by her and I’m glad to have moved my file.

I don’t usually write reviews but dr. Erum was pathetic. My mom has a serious health problem which is getting worse and is making it hard for to walk do daily tasks etc. Anyways this doctor didn’t seem to care at all, she was totally out of it lost and was telling my mom to do things her family doctor told her not. She clearly didn’t care it was like she was jus trying to get it over with. She didn’t give any useful advice and she has no knowledge from what we’ve experienced. She was telling my mom false things it was just such a waste of time I don’t know how she’s a doctor. I’d say don’t waste your time I’m sure there’s better specialists out there.

Dr Erum is an awesome doctor!! She has went over and above with helping me thro my pain with RA and Crohn’s Disease!She is so understanding and knows her stuff! I am so thankful to have her on my medical team keeping a close eye on me and my health!

Dr. Erum is a very good doctor and she is very intelligent and professional. She is one of the few doctors that I know, who listens well and does a thorough physical exam. I love the new office too!

Dr. Erum has been my rheumatologist for over 5 years now. She's very knowledgeable and thorough. She is very blunt, which I appreciate, but that does not mean she does not care and in my opinion she still maintains a high level of professionalism. Her passion to help is very clear and while the truth can be hard to hear sometimes, I appreciate her direct approach.

Very unprofessional staff and Doctor. The staff is sending wrong dates for appointment, after you miss the appointment because of incorrect dates, they are asking $100 for miss the appointment.Two time they did the same thing with my mom, right now we fill a Patient Feedback Foam to Alberta health Services to report this fake clinic. They taking money from the government and charging public too. Horrible!

Dr. Erum knows her specialty but isn’t the most friendly. I continue to see her and she helped me with a diagnosis. She’s adequate and does what pertains to her. I’ll continue to use her as she hasn’t left me angry or upset, but does help with my condition.

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't sure about Dr. Erum at first. Her office set up was pretty unprofessional as it was in a small pharmacy. After a few visits I saw what a good Rheumatologist I had and could easily ignore the Mickey Mouse" set up. After having a previously pushy Rheumy who kept insisting on extremely expensive biological meds even though I kept telling I could not afford it
