We've had pharaoh ants in our kitchen for about 3 months now and figured it was time to get a professional opinion. At most we would only see maybe 3-5 at a time (so nothing too drastic) and always kept our kitchen as clean as possible. We've tried liquid baits that could be purchased at any hardware store and while it seemed to do something, it wasn't getting rid of the problem. Garry was kind enough to give us his time even though we didn't have an emergency or a huge infestation. He was very respectful of our living space and while the kitchen was our only concnern, he still took the time to look over every room to see if more ants could be found. Garry was very patient with my questions and offered plenty of explanations/advice on what to do moving forward. We even got a 6 month warranty with our service should the issue continue or get worse!We're incredibly happy with the service we recieved and encourage folks to give Garry a ring! Garry responded to my initial request right away and was able to come over and help the very next day. He was able to get rid of our wasp nest that was hard to get to and dealt with a few too many ants. Garry was very friendly and responsive. Garry is the best. He helped us through a bed bug infestation several years ago and I called him recently to see if he could support us with a Pantry moth issue.He asked about the situation and how I had been dealing with it and determined that he didn't need to come by so saved me over $200. We called Avon because we had bees outside the house. Garry had availability for the same day which was awesome as we have a small kid playing around.In terms of the service, Garry was very professional, fast and helpful with our issue. I saw a few small insects on the floor of my apartment last night and was concerned they could be bed bugs, as I had just returned from a trip. I called Garry very early on a Sunday morning and he picked up right away. He asked me to send a photo and stayed on the phone with me whilst I did. He immediately reassured me it was definitely not a bed bug, I then sent him 2 more photos to double check because I was very scared! He confirmed they were absolutely not bed bugs and that I did not need to be concerned. Garry was extremely kind and very reassuring after quite a sleepless night!- Another company I had contacted before speaking with Garry then called me back and I sent them the photos also for more reassurance! They agreed with Garry and identified the bugs as ‘cigarette’ or ‘tobacco’ bugs that had come from flour/dried goods and would not harm me. I went to the cupboard and found the packet of flour (and more bugs) and was able to quickly and easily dispose of the flour and the bugs.Thank you so much for your kindness and reassurance Garry, I really appreciate it and I am looking forward to a good night’s sleep!
