As always Sobey has good products. Some better and cheaper than in other stores, especially the Compliments branded. But some (and many) other products are pricier and same or lower quality. Be picky is my advice!Still no benefits from the too much advertised Scene" plan. And besides it have been impossible for me to add family members to the same Scene account! Scotia Bank also does not help!"

The halibut steak I bought today had a good date, but it almost made me gag when I opened the package. Did it sit out in a warm room for a week before they packaged it? Did they change the date to make it look fresh? Anyhow, it's the foulest piece of fish I've ever purchased. Be warned.

Great store. Lots of fresh produce. Helpful staff. Good layout of display shelves. Fairly easy to find items. Lots of free parking. Shopping baskets available just inside main entrance. Seating area at main entrance if you need to wait for someone to arrive to pick up

Sobey's Woodstock is the best grocery store in town for several reasons: lots of friendly staff to assist you, cleanliness and sanitation remain important to the staff , a human is available at the cash register and no self checkouts in sight , thank you. Only popping in for a few items ? No need to wait in line, there is a courtesy desk at the store entrance for your convenience. The management encourages on the job experience for adults with challenges, it is wonderful to occasionally see students and young adults being assisted by their mentors and proudly working at several tasks .This opportunity speaks volumes about the management in my opinion. Another bonus is the promotion of local products when they are available. Signs indicate when apples , berries , maple syrup or produce come from farms in the Woodstock area. You will find what you need and enjoy the shopping experience when you visit Sobeys .

Other then prices Wich are non comparable to the city prices where I'm from in Ontario, the store is comparable to city stores, clean, stocked and pleasant experience...
