Plaza Premium Lounge

Can’t imagine paying $80 for this:Food selection was bad. Butter chicken that has dried out on the pan, other mysterious food in the pans you can’t tell because the labels are handwritten and at all the wrong places. Have to pay for any alcohol. Otherwise you get machine coffee and pop and juice dispenser. Not even bottled water!Lounge seats were mostly facing each other, a mere two meters apart. And of course armchairs with mysterious dark stains…Not recommended and not coming back!Saving grace: they did ask if I want to look around before paying - I regretted not.

Arrived on a Saturday evening. To my surprise there was a 30-45 min wait to be let in. People who made (and presumably paid for) were allowed to go to the front of the line.Pluses:1. The seating area was reasonable comfortable.2. Some free drinks3. I was able to snag a banana and an apple4. They had POG juice (via the fountain dispenser)5. The coffee machine workedMinuses:1. Lounge seemed understaffed. While the Staff assigned to clean up tables seemed to be on the ball, there were delays in replacing clean glasses (people had to resort to using espresso cups to get fountain pop).2. Yes food was free and probably better than I would make myself. But reminded me of college residence food. Included options were samosas, chicken curry (the best of the options), pasta without sauce, meatballs (like IKEA ones ), coleslaw, mixed greens, single servings of a cheesecake like dessert. Cream of broccoli soup was salty and more watery than creamy - like out of a package.3. Bathrooms (at least the guys one) were a bit of a mess. Maybe they clean it at the end of shift but if so and using later in the day, beware!4. Ice machine didn’t make ice. First world issue I know but still for a supposed lounge, at least have a working ice dispenser if offering fountain pop.

The worst lounge I stayed in my whole life!Plates were not being cleaned and just pilling up everywhere, the bathroom was dirty, and you need to pay extra for the shower... the food is also not being reponed ... so if you can just stay at the gate! For sure you will save your money and have a better experience!

Dried hard pasta, Coors light on tap unless you pay premium for a Heineken. Cookies store bought generic hard chocolate chip cookies. Sad lounge in YYZ

Terrible establishment. They charge you in. Then they charge you for a nicer seat in the ‘vip area’ which is pretty much the same chairs as any other lounge. There is no veg options to eat. The wine is cheap and terrible. The same winey song is on repeat over and over again. They charge $14 to use the shower, again, after already paying into a lounge. It’s bare and not cosy or relaxing. Would never pay into this brand of lounge in Canada again.

The lounge is good! It’s not the best and not the worst compared to other lounges in the world. The buffet was good and the food was decent. This time they offered us all you can eat- chicken shawarma with tofu salad and some soup. The alcohol selection was very limited and there were only two types of beer (Molson Canadian and Coors Light). Overall, it’s decent.

Opens at 7am. the staff i the check in is not friendly at all.. very rude and had a long face… it would have been good if she was polite !! the food is okay.. i was the 2nd or 3rd person to get in.. still the food was cold!!! liked the old priority pass lounge .. which was good .. now they have changed it completely!!! there are not many options… no proper refills in the bread station !!! not coming back !!!

The only thing I did in this lounge before leaving was go to check out the seating, which was littered with dirty dishes, then I went to grab a drink, but every cup was dirty with fingerprints on the outside and grime on the inside. My hands are sticky from trying to find a good cup.Thankfully I didn’t have to pay so I could leave without loss, but believe me either way go to literally any restaurant or coffee shop in the airport and set up there instead of this. You’ll be much better off.

Decent place to get some quick bites and drinks before your next flight. Not too fancy or varied, but it works if you're not picky.

Great food (pasta + sweet sour chicken rice today), coffee / beer included, and really spacious for these masked times. Had some really friendly conversations with Alicia (assistant chef) and other staff (contrary to previous reviews) here in the space. It's really nice to have my own space, for not much more $$ ($45 incl. tax for 2 hours) than if I bought a full meal at a restaurant in the main terminal with drinks. Washrooms are single use for privacy too, nice to have.Highly recommend to be away from the rush and crowds in a busy terminal!
