아이들과 낯선곳으로 이주를 오고, 많은 걱정으로 시작된 사스카튠에서의 새로운 시작. 하지만 비젼 교회에 등록을 하고 세상에서의 신앙인으로 살아가는 삶과 비전에 대한 목사님의 말씀과 매주 진행되는 성경공부, 함께 울며 웃으며 기도와 교제로 삶을 나누는 순모임, 교회내 youth의 다양한 활동을 통해 아이들도 이곳에 빨리 적응하여 우리 가족이 행복한 신앙생활을 할 수 있게 되어 감사합니다~^^

작지만 그 어느교회보다 따듯한좋은 교회라고 생각합니다.추천합니다^^

캐나다에 와서 처음갔던 교회가 비전교회였습니다. 낯선 타지에서 김현철 목사님의 말씀 하나하나가 큰 위로가 되었고 그 위로들이 모여 덕분에 더 크고 튼튼한 신앙을 만들었습니다. 좋은 교회 안에서 좋은 사람들을 많이 만나게 되었고 행복한 추억들을 만들어 주심에 감사합니다.

We attended this church for 8 yrs and were very involved in its ministries. We also left this church 2 years ago in September 2021. At the very beginning of our attendance, the pastor was warm and welcomed us.I am leaving a review so others won’t have the same experience. I noticed a few months ago that my husband’s review about this church was taken down, unsure if it was reported, deleted on purpose, or to silence our voice. My husband’s original post included issues which were shared with Pastor Chan in person and not behind his back.We left because we were treated as an outcast by the pastor and its leaders soon after questioning the pastor’s choices re: sabbatical leave, etc. We aren’t the only ones that were treated this way after speaking up, but there were others before our time. They, too, need a voice. They, too, just as we are, are the church. They, too, just as we are, are the body of Christ.Wouldn't an honest conversation with the intention to be a better church family means a desperate plea to reason together and find a solution? Instead of having fruitful discussions to figure out a way to make the church family better, we were made an outcast .Rationally, I understand that a negative review directly impacts the image of the church, its pastor and its leaders. Protecting the body of Christ— isn’t speaking up protecting others so others wont experience the same pain and heartbreaks? Are the people who were once a part of this church and who’ve left this church, not a part of the body of Christ anymore? Aren’t we as precious as the ones inside those church walls?I don't understand the closed ears, closed eyes, closed hearts, and closed doors— which in my opinion speaks volumes about the inside culture of the Saskatoon Vision Korean Church. You can leave and get lost— if you are not one of us. Easily disposable.As a pastor's kid who grew up in church all my life and looked up to ministers, I can say this experience put my faith in shambles. It was traumatic.

저는 종교를 믿지 않습니다.하지만 신앙이 깊은 아내와 3살 아이의 보호자로서 1년정도 비젼교회에 다니며 목사님과 사모님을 비롯하여 좋은 사람들을 만나고 교제하며 잊지 못할 추억들을 많이 만들었습니다.교회에 안좋은 이미지가 있던 제가 제 인생 처음으로 이런 교회라면 앞으로 계속 다녀도 좋겠다라는 생각을 했습니다.사스카툰에 있어주셔서, 그리고 저희 가족에게 나타나주셔서 감사합니다.

I have spent over 10 years attending Saskatoon Vision Korean Church. Not only are the teachings and sermons valuable and nourishing to my faith, but the people and community are supportive, hard-working, and welcoming. I am naturally a very introverted and timid person, and due to very upsetting experiences, I often find it difficult to trust or warm up to others (though I am working on it). However, I have always felt welcomed by the people of this church and I feel nothing but love for my brothers and sisters in Christ. This church has shown me how truly amazing it is to be a part of God's family.I have learned a lot from the community and the pastors and I continue to learn and grow my faith alongside them.

한국이나 캐나다 내 다른 대도시의 비해 규모는 환경적으로 작은 교회이지만, 그 안에서 성도들간의 더욱 친밀한 나눔과 교제는 주님의 사랑을 느낄수 있는 또 다른 은혜와 감동을 주셨고, 나에게는 더욱 더 이곳 사스카튠에 잘 적응해 나갈 수 있게 있었다. 청년부 순모임과 주일예배는 나의 중요한 일상중의 하나가 되었다.
