Save-On-Foods

Brand new store! Beautiful interior but not a fan of Self Check Outs as I am not getting paid to do the work of a Save-On-Food employee. Self Check Outs are nothing more than a reflection of Corporate greed to reduce their operating costs. Not to mention there are no health care benefits paid to the machine! And while I am at it, DO NOT GIVE to their charities. All you are doing is paying into their Corporate Tax Deduction. Donate directly!

This store in general has great customer service. There's a girl that works here who wears a turban - she very nice and also gorgeous!Generally overpriced items at all Save-On-Foods when compared to other grocery chains. However, that's what you pay for a cleaner and less busy shopping experience.

I came in with my son 10 minutes before closing and we really enjoy going to this save on foods. My son really enjoys coming here because they have a cart for my son (3 years old)We were ready to check out to find out I forgot my wallet so I used Apple pay which normally works. This is were I will be forever grateful for Parvir, Didar and especially Gurjot.I was panicking because my payment wasn't going through. They were patient with me and even offered to open another til to see if my payment would work.Well, it didn't work, then Gurjot suggested that I go home and get my wallet and they are willing to stay open until 1015 so I can pay for it.My son didn't want to leave without the groceries he chose hahha so Gurjot offered that he pay for it and I can just etransfer him.No questions asked. He willingly did it knowing that I really needed my items. Saved us a trip and my son getting upset hahaha.To management, I am forever grateful for these gentlemen. You have hired great people. I will forever speak highly of this store and I hope management gives these gentlemen all the praises they deserve. Thank you once again Parvir, Didad and Gurjot.

Always a great experience when shopping at this location. The store is very welcoming and clean. I come in during the week as I enjoy the cut fruit cups they make. Always fresh and love the different kinds of fruit. Personally I find they are the best out of all the places I have tried. The redhead (I forgot her name) who brings out the fruit cups is always so welcoming and answers any questions I may have. The produce area is one of the cleanest and nicest departments, always looking fresh and if something doesn't look good the staff are always willing to help look for a fresher item. Overall the staff and products are great, definitely have made this our new grocery store.

The name of this grocery chain should change in : Not save on food". Compare with other stores

Called the bakery last minute for a birthday cake for my son, not only did they get it ready at 9 am they also personalized it for him all without asking for a deposit or credit card. They made me feel truly valued and like I was part of a community of people who cared.... Thanks!! I will always come to them first from now on :)

Really nice location, produce is beautiful, well-organized. Lots of amenities including flowers, bakery, and pharmacy. I found the pharmacist to be very helpful as well. Lots of vegan grocery options! Some items priced slightly higher but they price match so check ur flyers

What a great price for strawberries, even cheaper than Superstore and Walmart. There are always some good surprises to be discovered at this new location. It was the Bounty paper towels last time, expecting for some more in the future.

This is the absolute worst save on foods ever to exist. The design feels dated, the stuff they stock is very different to other stores and not in a good way. They seem to have nothing but generic basics. Lighting is a mix of colors and you can tell it's not high end quality. The pharmacy you need sunglasses for as they did it entirely wrong, it's actually so much strain on the eyes. Parkade is so narrow at entry most cars scrap the sides of their tires. This is extremely disappointing and hopefully a one off. To summarize YUCK!!?

This place needs a name change to better reflect its pricing strategy. Everything is expensive here. Food prices are an extra $1-3 dollars here. Literally walk and just add an extra few dollars per item. Another example is hand soap (yes, not food but still). I randomly compared and it was same size but double the price here ($5.99 on Amazon vs $10.99 here). This particular store is always dead and you rarely see customers with full size buggies. That’s because the residents in the area know better! No thank you, we will stick to Walmart and Superstore, “SPEND more on Foods”.
