I went to the Seekers Center 3 times august 2020 for acupuncture for an illness. The acupuncture was ineffective and the employee said I was not likely to see improvement with this therapy. I appreciated his honesty, it was worth a try. The reason for this 1 star review is for one of the receptionists. EACH time I arrived for my appointments, she would have her mask down to her chin, mouth and nose exposed. I asked her to adjust her mask. She said that she cannot speak on the phone with her mask on. I then spoke with a manager/supervisor who said that the employees are doing their best, but that I have to realise that nowhere is safe. That kids will be back at school soon and spreading illness and that if her employees need to cough they must remove their mask or if they're choking they must remove their mask. I don't know what she was talking about (the receptionist is not a school-aged child, was not choking, and why would you remove a mask to cough?). The few times I went to the center for treatment I tried to avoid the maskless employee, but had to interact with her to pay the fees. Also, many of the employees here wore ill fitting masks. I would not recommend this business as they do not practice safe pandemics guidelines.EDIT AFTER RESPONSE from owner: I went to your establishment 3 times. All 3 times the employee had her mask off. To pay my fee, I had to get closer than 10 feet (more like 3-4 feet). Since when does someone need to remove their mask to speak on the phone? Every time?

Amazing clinic. I went there for Neurofeedback, and the results were life-changing! I wish I done this years ago. Dr. Nahas was very honest about setting reasonable expectations, but ultimately it was great. Their technician, Katie, was super knowledgeable and supportive. As an engineer, I use my brain constantly and need to be mentally sharp -- more people need to know about neurofeedback.

Extremely disappointing. The doctor had his heart set on giving me weekly injections. There was no discussion and no alternatives. He was rude and dismissive. I see that others have had more positive experiences. That's great. I just felt compelled to put out a warning. The web site promised great well rounded researched based professional treatment. That was definitely not my experience.

Extremely greatful to my retired family doctor, who after years of not being able to help me with my chronic pain, referred me to Dr. Nahas. I have been under his care for little then less than a year, and I am so greatful for his medical expertise. He has began to really assist me in improving my quality of life. A very knowledgeable doctor who explains and educates his patients as he treats them. Until I met Dr. Nahas and his Wonderful team, I never had my health issues taken seriously due to the stigmas that come along with chronic pain.Trigger point injections, ozone, acupuncture to name a few in which I've received in treatments. I never paid much attention to the so called benefits of acupuncture, well to my pleasant surprise it has been helpful. Trust in the process, I myself was dubious at first but I'm thankful I stuck to it, very worthwhile, still lots more to work on.... I would also just like to add I have never witnessed any staff not abiding by the covid protocals my weekly appointments are always consistent.... GREAT MEDICAL CARE!!!!!

During an appointment for injections due to chronic pain, something happened during one of my last appointments for injections which in fact made my chronic pain worse. I then began intervenous rather then injections. The intervenous helped but only temporary. Sadly, there is no permanent pain reduction with any of the treatment I was offered and received. Today, I am grateful for the next path I chose after this in which has helped by far greater then the treatment I had at the Seekers Centre.

I am disappointed with the treatment I received here mainly because I felt that I was consistently being talked down to, and discredited as if I had no valuable input about my condition. Furthermore this was out of pocket treatment to add insult to injury, when I made a request for my treatment I was asked by Dr. Nahas to look for a service like that elsewhere. Often felt that my time was disrespected as my appointments were changed to different hours and dates and upon arriving at the aforesaid time I was informed that it was lunch time and that I'd be waiting another hour for my appointment. This would be somewhat understandable if it was covered by OHIP Finally after the wait the doctor I spoke with spent without exaggerating maybe 5 minutes with me.

They forgot to remove a needle in my head after my first accupuncture appointment. So I got home and realised hours later. I told their office but they just minimised it and said that happens. But my other health practitioner (who does accupuncture, and is very observant of the amount of needles he uses) told me that could be dangerous as it can break in two and go inside your body. Low risk most likely but still unsettling. I was very excited about this appointment but they also made it difficult to have an MD accupuncture covered appointment, after I had booked that specifically with them. I was so looking forward, but quite disappointed now for these few reasons. I also wanted to try some of their other services but would not return after my first visit.

I waited 1 year and a half to receive my first appointment only to be told the doctor only does injection - no alternatives was proposed. Since I tried trigger point injections with little success and with tremendous pain in another clinic I wasn't interested - they informed me the doctor would not see me. I pointed out that their website discussed an integrative approach and a reduction on prescribed medication - no longer, doctor only does injection! I think they seriously dropped the ball by not screening patient properly and by flat out refusing to see patient who don't want to be bullied into a treatment option that doesn't suit their needs. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone and will never go back for any other type of treatment!
