Good for swimming lanes and for parent-tot swimming. Awful change room.Change room was in a dilapidated condition. Never saw such an outdated change room and I'm 43 years old, mind you.Don't go when Google says it's busier than usual. My first visit to a Canadian swimming pool. I'm sorry to say this but I was a bit shocked by the change room. There were only 3 stalls that were actually washrooms. Far too little.  It was also quite filthy. In house people take their shoes off but in a change room, where I walk barefoot, it’s apparently normal to wear your filthy hiking boots. I guess it's filthier because of March break. They let too many people in, it was unacceptably crowded in the pool. Moving or attempting to swim meant touching / kicking others (sorry, people).Pool is OK for swimming lanes and for parent-tot swimming. Other than the wave pool no facilities. A bit boring.

There is a small library here, a little playground out front, and a cute little bridge passing over the brook! But I think the best part is the WAVE POOL! THE ONLY ONE of it's kind here in Halifax. Not to mention, it is THE CHEAPEST INDOOR SWIM PRICE YOU CAN FIND IN HALIFAX. For only 2$ per person( tax INCLUDED), you get a 1 hour swim! The waves in the wave pool go two times during the hour and are about 10 minutes each. They are strong and very fun. It's the only pool I like to visit here in Halifax.

Have no idea why they close the gym at 8 pm if center is opened until 9 pm.

Really polite staff and lots of different facilities just not made for large groups. They cancel swims without notice quite often and the pool isn't very big but they keep it clean.

Have been taking the kids to swimming lessons at Capt William Spry for around a year now and they love it. The instructors are great and the pool is nice. The waves are a fun feature. The changing rooms are a bit rough and could use some repair / updating, but they're suitable.

A bit run down but lots of space for activities and a handy door that leads right to the library. The pool is just the right size for toddler swims, too!
