It's an old school, not glamourous vet but the job is done, and done well. It's not an esssential oil enfused 5 star spa, it's a vet clinic. So set your expectations accordingly. Many people mentioned that they push and upsell a lot of food/suppliments and I would agree with that. However, it might come as a shoker for many, you can always refuse to buy any supliments 0_0Overall great place if you need a vet apointment for not urgent issues

I was caught in a bind when my dog developed a tooth infection over the holidays. This vet was kind enough to fit me in to his schedule. He took time to get to know the full history of my elderly dog, gave her a thorough examination and explanation of her condition. He was very caring, knowledgable and professional. I would highly recommend him.

I’m not a customer at the clinic but I was calling around to find out the estimate for my cat’s dental cleaning and a very pleasant man answered the phone. I’m not sure if he’s a receptionist or a doctor but he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I was recommended a dental cleaning at a different clinic without any extractions needed but every place I called was trying to charge me 800-1000$ for a regular plaque removal. The man I talked to gave me a lot of pieces of advice and walked me through on how to take care of my cat’s teeth myself before going somewhere and leaving hundreds of dollars (considering that my cat is healthy and still young of course). I’m grateful for every little suggestion and I’m glad there are people out there that genuinely try to help. I can definitely say that he loves his job and pets. Thanks so much. It literally made my day. I will definitely be becoming a customer one day!

PLEASE DON’T GO HERE. I was new to the area and my lady cat was picking at her fur, pulling out tufts, so I brought her in. This man talked down to me for the whole appointment, saying there is nothing wrong with her, that female cats are finicky and do this, that I'm being crazy and worrying about nothing.I booked my girl in with Sherborne Animal, and it was a night and day difference. The new doc took his time and was very gentle with her, and I could SEE the difference in her.**UPDATE** my sweet lady has kidney failure. We caught it in the early stages and she’s doing amazing on her new food. Had I not kept looking for answers after this vet told me I was crazy, she wouldn’t have the chance she now has to live years longer. I am so thankful I trusted my gut and ignored the “advice” of this horrible vet. Please do yourself a favour and always go the extra mile. I’d be lost without my girl and now we get a chance to double her lifespan thanks to a vet at Sherbourne Animal Hospital who took the time to listen to me and search for answers

A bit of an old school" vibe as far as vet clinics go - both the receptionist and the doctor are affable enough

I am in the process of adopting a cat and I was calling around to compare prices. I haven't been to the clinic yet but the male receptionist was verrry knowledgeable and gave a lot of good advices/ recommendations, instead of just telling me to do all the tests I could afford. Really appreciated the honesty and definitely will be coming back as a customer once I get the cat.

Where do I even start about this vet clinic…1. The place looks very old and dirty. Even the vet’s scrub has yellow stains all over. It seems to me that they are not bothered with any sort of improvement.2. At first, he will try to ask you all the questions but overtime I realized they are extremely careless with what they do— the receptionist never gave me a proof of the vaccine slit after until I HAD TO ASK for it. Then, I realized the dates were written incorrectly. I had to check every time, the writings were so messy. And the receptionist just wrote the new date over it. Extremely unprofessional. Then she said she would give reminder calls day before the shots. Also3. The vet was very stubborn and judgmental. If my puppy moves during the check up. He would say things like “ your dog doesn’t respect you, need to get him trained” when he’s just a puppy getting his booster shots. And when I told the vet that I been using ear cleaner for him he just cuts me off arrogantly and says “ don’t, just don’t.” Usually a new puppy owner would like more information than just that. And when I tell him that I’d give my dog some liver treats. He also says the same thing. Never leaves room for possible discussion but forces people to just listen to what he says.4. They would set the price low the first time but then, the booster shots after were charged extremely high. They also separate the cost of “consultation” and “exam” when the two were all done together and all he did with examining my puppy was to touch around him. WHAT GETS ME REALLY UPSET WAS that my puppy had ear infection this WHOLE TIME but he never told us. He even used the cotton to clean his ear every time. We found out from our new vet shortly after that my dog has ear infection. Very disappointed as I paid for consultation AND exam and this is what we get. End up paying extra for a new vet to examine the dog.So, why go to this clinic if you end up spending around the same amount of money but with such unprofessional service? DONT. Don’t make the same mistake I made.

This vet doesn't have a lot of business and unfortunately seem to take advantage of clients by selling them everything under the sun. He didn't even see my dog who was hitching and came up with a diagnostic based on what he had the year before based on his file and sold for $600 of stuff to my partner because of his love of the dog. When he called to follow up the following week, we asked if we could have more of one anti-inflammatory pills like in the past and he said yes, in the past it used to cost me 30$ for the refill, when I went to pick it up, he wanted to charge 100$ saying it was to charge for a consultation over the phone that it was him who called to follow up. We told him we didn't need cream and he wanted to sell us an extra cream with the pills. The guy look desperate and the care of our pets is not his primary concern. The girl working there is extremely rude. All prices are made up for everything and located in a paper binder....still no cash register. I will no longer go to this vet in the future, I do not like being taken advantage of, which was the case.

They business is not going great to they are ripping of customers! And the place smells like cigarettes! So disgusting! I will never go here even if it was the only vet place openThe doctor also, treated my kittens with aggression

I brought my dog here a couple of times during the course of her life because it was close by and I sincerely regret not choosing another vet. On both occasions the vet pushed a lot of additional supplements and seemed to make up prices as they went. The office smells of cigarettes and is indeed very old school. When my dog became ill and on our last visit to this clinic I entered the waiting room to a receptionist with her head down and headphones on. I sat down assuming she was on a call and waited for 15 minutes until the vet finally came out and tapped her on the shoulder to get her attention to sign us in.Once in with the vet, I explained something was not right with my dog and discussed symptoms as he did a physical exam. He listened to her heart (through her layers of winter jackets) after I explained that she had a heart murmur. He suggested I train her for her anxiety, because she’s needy. My dog was very sick at the time and shaking so I held her in my arms. He then suggested that I buy four different supplements, and find a cardiologist. I wasn’t given a referral or any other info. After hours of phone calls to various vets, and being questioned as to why I hadn’t received a proper referral from my vet to expedite the process, I decided to bring her to emergency care at TVEH (exceptional vets). They discovered she had a huge cancerous tumour that was pressing her heart and lungs to the other side of her body.I made the tough decision to euthanize to avoid further suffering. We used a fantastic Hospice and at-home euthanasia vet Midtown Mobile Veterinary Hospice Vet (they were absolutely amazing). The ashes were to be returned to Trinity Mews. The cremation service made four attempts during business hours, on different days to drop off my dogs remains to no avail. Nobody was at the clinic. I called Trinity today and they assured me they’d be there, again nobody was there to accept the remains. Tomorrow I am collecting my dogs ashes from a completely different clinic we had never been to (Bay Cat Dog Hospital) who graciously agreed to help, since Trinity Mews has been so unreliable.
