Today, I experienced a very upsetting incident. I don't want to hold a grudge, but I want to provide information for other customers.A few days ago, I switched my phone service from Rogers to Fido, even though they are part of the same company.A store clerk informed me that if I contacted customer service after activation, I could have a $50 service setup charge waived when I asked for that. So, I called customer service, and the representative told me that the waiver was possible but suggested I go back to the store for better assistance with my request. I returned to the store, but they informed me that they couldn't help and advised me to call customer service. I explained that customer service had directed me back to the store. In front of the store staff, I contacted customer service again, and this time, they reiterated that I could not have the waive.I'm frustrated that they provided incorrect information causing me to waste time and energy.To make matters worse, all three associates then accused me of raising my voice, even though I was speaking with the same tone as the clerk. They threatened to record me with the security camera and asked me to leave if I continued behaving that way. Shouldn't I be able to complain and explain what happened to me?I initially went to the store not only to resolve the service setup charge but also to address an issue with fingerprint access on my new phone, which I had purchased there. However, I was forced to leave as they insisted.Feeling extremely frustrated by their aggressive behavior, I decided to cancel my phone service immediately. While speaking to customer service on the phone, a supervisor (presumably) suddenly intervened, offering to waive the fee because I was upset about $50. However, given the inconsistency in their statements between yesterday and today, I found it difficult to trust this supervisor. He assured me that he would promptly send me an email to confirm the waiver. I was left waiting on hold for over 40 minutes, so I ultimately hung up. The supervisor later emailed me, but the discount offered was only $5.I called customer service again, and they informed me that they couldn't adjust the fee and were unaware of any promise to waive $50 with no record of it.Is this the new policy and trend for handling customers' unresolved issues—simply passing them around, changing statements, and then accusing and threatening customers who complain? I left Fido before due to their absurd customer service, and now I remember exactly why.

I am so happy with the service I received by Alysa, in the Duncan store. She was amazing and went way beyond expectations to make sure that my needs were met. She dealt with customer service and then called me once some issues were cleared up to pick up my new phone, as I had time restraints due to my job.

My boyfriend and I stopped by the Fido store shortly before close to get new iPhones as a Christmas presents. Jimmy took great care of us! He answered all our questions on different phone options. He was knowledgeable, courteous and put our needs as the customer first. He even stayed after close to process the plan changes and sale. I was impressed with his customer service skills and his work ethic, including his willingness to set aside his own plans for the evening. He absolutely deserves a promotion and a raise! I am pleased to recommend this store with 5 stars.

Great service! They helped me pick a plan that works for me. Two phones and a security camera with SIM card, and help to choose between Rogers and Fido. Would definitely recommend!
