Talked to a lady on the phone who worked for this organization. She came off as pushy and condescending when I asked about solutions to my debt, repeated multiple times that this was my only option to get out of my debt (to use their program.) After doing more research about their company, and reading reviews online, their service was definitely not going to work for me. (If you use their program you will get an R7 rating on your credit, which in turn will screw your credit for years, like claiming bankruptcy, something they won't warn you about themselves). I had a weird scammy vibe coming from the entire conversation, very glad I didn't go through will using them. THERE IS HOPE TO GET OUT OF YOUR DEBT, DONT FALL FOR THEIR SALES TACTICS, I made multiple appointments with financial advisors at different banks, made a solid plan to get ahead of my debt, and don't have to take a crucial hit to my credit, ruining future opportunities. Also, expect to be bombarded by phone calls and emails from them, even if you tell them point blank you're not interested, do not recommend.

This company straight up lies to you in the process of creating an account with them. They told me my credit card would be paid in full and then I just have to make payments with them. Wrong. They told me there was a one time fee of $49 to create an account with them. Wrong. Its $49 every single month that could be going towards your bills but instead is lining their pockets. You get a really kind and patient person on the phone during the process of creating your account and then after that any calls you make to them you get really rude people on the line who dont offer much help. Upon canceling my account they told me it was canceled and then a few months later you will find out it never was canceled. Your credit card will be put on R7 which will destroy your credit just by signing up with this company. Think this company is a good idea? Wrong. Seriously people just talk to your bank. They can work out some kind of payment plan for you. Dont go with a shady company like this.

I went to them to help pay off my credit card debt and was assured it would hardly affect my credit rating but 2 years later I find out it has completely ruined my credit and is only slightly better than bankruptcy. I quit the program as soon as I found out but it's too late and now i have 7 years of bad credit. They should have been completely honest about this as I would never have signed up had I known.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!I sought out a solution to my debt as with most Albertans I was caught in a bit a rift of job losses and layoffs.I was not able to stay on top of the sheer amount of interest otherwise reasonable debts were incurring. When I inquired they assured me I would be out of debt in a matter of 3 years.Having to source jobs for considerably less income then what I was doing previously, I struggled to make ends meet. But paying my debts was paramount to my financial situation as my future depended on it, (House Lannister knows what's up).Recently, I inquired to see how much was left with the intent to make a couple large contributions to spur myself past the metaphorical finish line" and breath a sigh of relief

I have gotten an automated voice message from them at least twice a day for the last 3 days. When I requested a consult it said a Counselor would contact me, instead I have just gotten automated calls since and it has been getting worse the last few days to the point I have blocked them but still get voicemails every time! I have gotten so many voicemails that they have filled my voicemail box because they call so often while I'm at work and don't have time to delete them!

Payment schedules are not flexible - they do not have an option to do bi-weekly or work with your pay schedule. In addition, only banking with Scotia and no other method to apply payment with other banks. As a credit counseling service and helping" to get on track there is very limited options to help apply payment which does not make sense."

Consolidated Credit is very friendly….. before you sign up.Consolidated Credit is quick to help, answer questions, and provide documents as required…….. at first.Consolidated Credit will tell you all the good things you want to hear……………. Then deny and lie after you sign papers.I signed up with Consolidated in 2019. They told me they could help reduce my credit card payment, and do it in a way that it would NOT affect my credit, and would continue being seen as a regular, revolving payment. As I was returning to college, a reduction in monthly costs sounded great, especially if it meant a boost to my credit in the end.For over 3 years, I made every payment on time, even making extra payments. I watched as my credit grew and reached a very high point. Then, I called and asked about paying off the account in full. Well, shortly after, my credit had dropped over 200 points. I called in and they told me they couldn’t do anything about it, they couldn’t even inquire about it because it was not in their area of abilities. Well, what are they doing other than taking my money? NOTHING.After making payments for years, my credit DROPPED. What was the point of making payments on time and paying off an account if it was going to hurt my credit after almost 4 years. It works the opposite of what it was supposed to. Ridiculous. Unfair. Damaging. On top of all of this, these people are EXTEMELY RUDE. I have been hung up on, I have been told “too bad,” I have been repeatedly told, “whatever,” and rarely get an answer to my questions. Ask them to look into something, and it is like asking them to pull teeth. They get pouty, upset, and angry. My children act more mature. So, in the end, you pay these fees and dues, to be treated poorly and have your credit ruined. Does that sound like something you want? If you are looking to be treated poorly, I am sure you can get that for free anywhere else. If you want to ruin your credit, why pay someone to do it?If you want to rebuild credit, RUN. Do not walk away from this company, RUN. Chances are, if you spoke to them even once, you will also have to HIDE. Hide like a child sneaking their Halloween candy from their parents right before they know their parents are going to throw it all away. These guys will hound you, being polite, but then destroy you worse than a bully destroying a sandcastle at the beach. RUN and HIDE. It will save you from pulling out your hair and crying later on, after these guys have destroyed you.

Absolute joke of a company. Rushed me to an agreement. Assured me over and over that everything was well within their abilities. Took my 50 bucks to start a payment plan. Then after they got their money. Called me back to say they couldn't do anything for me and that the money was non refundable. Didn't do a ounce of due diligence before rushing to sign me up. Highly suggest you choose a place that will do their job before they take your money. What a scam

SCAM! BEWARE! I signed up for this and after determining that their payments were far too high and decided to cancel. 3 weeks later I finally got some of the $2000 that they withdrew that was never applied to my account!! And ...they billed me TWICE. DO NOT USE THIS SCAMMER SERVICE. You will pay $120 off the bat and another 70 per month. Over a year you'll pay them almost a $1000. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!!

**my response to your response. I spoke to your company 2 times, then I was referred to Bromwich and Smith, who do not charge. So please explain how speaking to you and getting referred to another company costs $1575? It doesn't!**Horrible experience! I was charged $1575 to even start the process and that money didn't even go to my payments, but to the company..... AND THEN the company ended up referring me out to another company because they couldn't help me and kept my money. GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY, DO NOT USE THEM. made me more in debt worse!
