We attended the most awesome wind show tonight at the GPRC performing arts centre tonight. The singing and music was so meaningful and beautiful. However we learned that this was to be the last show in this beautiful theatre for the performing arts program. More cutbacks by our government. The long-time instructors and students had tears in their eyes, as did the audience. We wept for their loss as another good program hits the dust. sad so sad.

Concert was great. Seating was not. To me it was a fire Hazzard where we were seated no way out but over top of the seats in front of us.

Great shows, and good views across the entire theatre. We sat near the back and it was very a good view of the entire stage!

Very disappointing. We booked tickets for a show and there was nothing about not bringing children. When we got there we were told we couldn't bring our baby's carseat in the theatre due to fire regulation. The theatre was half empty and the wheelchair seats were empty. So I stood in the back with our baby in the shoulder carrier. The worst part was that the man running the space made it seem like we were so fortunate to be able to stand...at the back...instead of in the seat I paid for...

We went to see Mama Mia for the command performance.Overall, the facility is appropriate for live performances with a few exceptions:1) The front row of the balcony has a guardrail in place which completely obstructs the view of virtually all of the downstage. Most of the patrons had to either peer through the gap between the guardrail and wall, or lean forward to look over the guardrail (just a guess, but the architect HAD to be almost 7 feet tall)2) Parking can be a little difficult, especially for large attendance shows. It's not helpful that the parking signage seems to be the same for all areas, but the website indicates other areas as available parking on weekends during performances.3) I did not see a disabled elevator for access to the balcony, and I don't recall an option for main floor disabled seating on the website ticketing page.As for the amenities, the Centre obviously has a liquor license and does have a refreshment area close to the main doors of the theatre. Given the Centre is located in the College with thousands of students, plenty of washroom facilities are available.Light, sound, and acoustics are quite good given that the Centre could be multipurposed as a lecture/presentation facility.

My friend and I went to see Snow White on Friday evening. We were walking through the lobby, my friend was on crutches. We were approached by a lovely lady, named Roxy. She said she would be seating us first and changed our seats to where my friend would not have to do stairs and would have more leg room. She checked on us during the intermission to see if my friend needed anything and was so pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed the play but our experience was made better by Roxy.Kudos Roxy…you’re awesome.

This a great venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Comfortable seats with enough room between seats. The sound is amazing and the staff are diligent with keeping guests respectful so everyone has a good experience.

Great place for a concert. Very comfortable seats. The size makes for a more intimate show/evening.

Very delightful acting, queen did a great job always in character and snow white had a sweet, charming voice and was just lovable. Good, clear singing and absolutely enjoyable.
