This place is great! Love the decor and the wide range of food choices available. What's incredible about this place is the healthy approach that it's taken for shawarma. Improvements I would make is for the shawarma meat to be higher quality. I found that the meat is super fatty and tends to be Lower quality cuts. The sauces hit the spot!

Kids and I, we went by Whitby Tahini for dinner. Kids loved their butter chicken Wrap, perfect spice for them. They finished all. It was one of the best juicy flavourful wrap. I had the same thing but more spicier. The ambiance was good, the food was amazing.Check out Tahini for a quick, healthy, flavourful wrap.

Don’t order the poutine unless you want soup with a few fries. Ordered it for my kids and they couldn’t eat it because the fries were so heavy and soggy they couldn’t pick them up with their forks. I asked them to rectify it by making a few more fries so it could look like the picture on their menu. We had spent $100 there as a large family, and when I said I didn’t want to have to leave a bad review but would, they didn’t care. They said we’d have to buy another order of fries. Fries are so cheap to make. I really don’t understand. So there you go. We won’t be bringing business here again.

Foods great, it’s my go to spot in the area for a good shawarma bowl, ingredients are always fresh. But whenever I call to order they NEVER pick up, they pick up I say 3% of the times and that’s being generous. It’s quite aggravating. But the food keeps me coming back so guess I gotta deal with it…

This in regards to my pick up order on 15MAR2023. There was a lady who walked in front of me returning her food (which I presume she picked up earlier) stating it wasn’t her order. The restaurant staff said that yes it was a mistake and the customer had picked up someone else’s incomplete order.The staff gave the customer her proper order, and then placed her returned box (which had some rice and some veggies inside) on the prep table/counter. Then, I notice the staff began to process my order using that returned box of food on top of the rice and veggies that was already there.Now, I am sure there’s a 99% chance the half filled box of rice and veggies returned by the prior customer was likely untouched/harmless. But I am quite certain that using another customer’s returned box of food to complete the order of the next customer is unacceptable and you could even lose your business/food safety license for (or get a hefty penalty).I actually didn’t make much of a fuss. But please do train your staff to notice and understand these aspects. This is rather common sense to be honest. I like the food, hence not giving a 1 star.You can do better.

I decided to give Tahinis a second try. I ought to have learnt from my first visit. I don't usually leave poor reviews but I do expect better customer service, that is at least pleasant which she was not. I tried a chicken shawarma wrap and it was flavourless. A bit disappointing considering Pita Pit is next door and the bar is fairly low. The veggies were sparse, no parsley available and sauce was slim. Try Elias across the way, patron them and get a tasty meal.

Food was terrible went there last night with my friends and I asked for a different sauce and the worker said he was gonna charge me extra for food I’m already paying $20 for.Let alone they never asked me what toppings I wanted because I’m allergic to some ingredients and they just made my food quick just because there was a little rush disregarding anyone who may have allergic reactions. Definitely never going back and you shouldn’t either, there is way more authentic shawarma restaurants out there.

A gem in Whitby! The food is consistently great (both take out and dine in), the service and owner are wonderful, and the portions are plentiful. Whenever I’m craving Barakat’s from London this is my go to ☺️. Their fries and garlic are a must!!

First time tried regular butter chicken it was good so 6 of my friends decided to try dine in and ordered more varieties.1. Worst food was regular Gyro - 0*.. Meat was so dry, no taste can smell the lamb when you eat.2. Chicken Shawarma - dry3. Jerk chicken - wrap and bowl was good.

Came here on a whim. Was starving!Ordered mix bowl with rice and maya salad.The service was wonderful. The cashier was kind and patienceThe location was cleanThe food was good.The gyro/chicken are quite flavourful!!The portions are large as their is an abundance of sides (5 sides)They are a bit expensive but it is definitely tasty food!! The bowls are $14 each.*the plates are $18.00 each but the only difference between bowl/plate is portion size and the pita …The two bowls and a pop came out to $36.00I would definitely recommend
