What an amazing day rafting down the Elk river in the East Kootenays! The day started with a great safety briefing which helped get rid of some of the nerve's. Our guide Jeremy was brilliant from start to finish.I've rafted a few times and this was by far the best combination of experienced guide, quality equipment and great location.Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about checking these guys out.Thanks again!!!

What an amazing way to spend an afternoon. Feel so lucky that Kootenay Raft Co was able to get us down the St. Mary's River for the last trip of the season. I chose the option to kayak, if you want to have fun, and laugh this trip is for you. I will have to return again and experience the river at higher water now!

A great trip with Jamie, Spencer and Thomas. Bald eagles, ospreys, some intentional and unintentional swims, a good lunch, and spring water full of nutrients. And we now know what a rude hoodoo looks like!

Ten of us seniors had a wonderful day down the St. Mary's River with two very experienced guides.We were taught our commands for paddling while in the lake and then ventured down the river. It was so much fun being a participant of rowing rather than just drifting.Because we were such a large group they fed us snacks, lunch and drinks.A very affordable adventure and just a great experience seeing the winding of the river.Highly recommend it.

It was our first experience rafting. We loved it. Our guide Ben ,was very knowledgeable , not only with the rafting but also gave us history of the area. He made us very comfortable! We would highly recommend this for first time rafters

First time out I was so nervous as the river was very high and really moving. Ben our guide was absolutely amazing with full details to instruction, survival and teaching all 8 of us the basics to river rafting. There was another raft of 4 guides who were very helpful, very knowledgeable and who were so polite. We started down the 12km river in Class I rapids then progressed to Class III rapids with Ben giving us instructions what to do all the way down. It was so invigorating, 100% team work, with lots and lots of laughs. Ben told us of the history going down the river and surroundings. I would 100% recommend Ben and his crew and next year we will be back ready to tackle the Class IV rapids. Plan on getting wet but with a lot of laughter. You guys/ girls rock. Thank you so much

A new must do adventure! Yesterday we just went kayaking down the river with this company! They were great fun and the rapids were beyond fun in the kayak! Highly recommend this experience! Thank you for showing me how to love a rock Ben! Best excursion JCI arranged! Hope to do it again with you!

Benjamin and Leah were amazing guides for rafting with our 13 and 9 year olds. They had a blast their first time and we learned about the local area while we saw wildlife including deer and a bald eagle.

What a fabulous adventure for the whole family.It all starts with a big welcome and our first set of instructions, followed by a fun and bumpy bus ride to the river.Next, we put our equipment on and receive event more safety training. And then the adventure starts!Our guide Jared was fun, knowledgeable, and so friendly. He made the trip even more fun!We all recommended this fun rafting trip for the whole family!
