Great place to look for agates and other cool stones. My two daughters, 4 and 8 enjoyed it immensely. We would’ve stayed longer but our schedule had us moving along. Will definitely come back. Price was reasonable $28 for a car and a party up to 6. Frank was perfectly fine, knowledgeable and helpful to myself my daughters.

I am really sad to give this review. The condition of the building is dilapidated and looks as though the exterior walls will start crumbling if nothing is done. It seems no care has been taken to this building and the same displays for YEARS!I was so excited to travel here again after many years for this specific store but was shocked at the prices and the lack of desirable stones present and found much nicer variety of beautiful tumbled stones at the store down the street supporting many artists instead so thank goodness for the Lagasse Studio by the bridge that saved my trip all the way there.It seems nothing has been done to care for this building in many years. I bet they would sell so much more if they lowered their prices.I walked in and it was immediately a tight space to move around with only five people in the store. All who walked in and out with out a purchase. It would have better floor space if there wasn't a awkward barrel in the middle of the floor.

Great selection of rocks in the store, we even got a tour of the back room which has an impressive collection. Did the agate pit and was amazed on the amount of beautiful rocks we got to pick. Very knowledgeable, funny and nice owner. Definitely recommend to stop by.

The shop was quaint and cozy. I thought the price of $28 per vehicle was very reasonable and we had a lot of fun in the pits, but the owner has zero manners and commented negatively about our tattoos, called us wimps for wanting to head home early, and made an extremely inappropriate “joke” about my late grandpa which actually caused me to tear up. Went here because we were excited to be able to find more than just fossils and stones but it wasn’t worth the negative interactions and harsh words. Will be going to literally any other rock quarry in the future. Only go hear if you have tough skin I guess.

We had the best time today!! Wonderful guide, very knowledgeable. We left with smiles and some cool very rocks! 10/10! Will be back.

I will absolutely not be going back to this shop, the owner when asked a price of an item says one price, when ringing it through makes it a higher price than what he said when asked.He is very rude, and honestly the items are neat, but over priced. You can find the same items in Regina for a cheaper price point AND get friendly customer service.I will not support someone who is ignorant or lies about prices to make extra money.

A great little shop that gives you the opportunity to visit their gravel pits to go search for agates, rocks and fossils. The gravel pits are truly some of the best in Canada to find agates of all types. Permits can only be purchased from the Rock Shop itself, unlike its outdated website stating you can purchase them from the corner store across the street. It would be nice to have them update their site (been years since its last update).As always owner is friendly and knowledgeable about rocks, minerals and fossils.
