My general contracting company ordered concrete from City Mix last week to help us pour a grade beam. They were very helpful and professional right from the first phone call.The concrete showed up right on time and the driver was very helpful. Everything went exactly as planned and credit goes to the office staff and driver for making that happen.

Placed order on Tuesday morning for a Friday pour through city mix sister company to selkirk ready mix for a driveway approach north of selkirk. Gave all details to order desk including all required info for payment. Was a repeat customer using them last summer twice for the same job location. This time they lost our order and wouldn’t own up to it even though we were on the phone placing the order for 10 minutes. Received allot of excuses including that because we are not an account holder they will only pour after 3pm. Yet last two pours were early morning pours. Ironically when I attempted to set up and account last year I was told not to bother and just pay through the credit card route as I wouldn’t be purchasing enough on a regular basis. Very poor customer service and we were able to find two other viable options to set up with other companies before they could even call us back to say they could make something work next week. In addition we were told after the fact the the selkirk plant wasn’t even operating and it would have to come from Winnipeg.
