Le Gourmand Bakery - Humber
In the morning I need a coffee to function if I'm not working. So after an appointment I noticed this place and asked whats the most popular caffeinated beverage this little shop had to offer? The Pistachio Coconut Latte, and wow yes it was good. Exactly what I needed. There is a lot to choose from, cookies, pastries. Fresh baked baquettes and bread of sorts and sandwiches. On a future visit I plan to buy the baquettes! A very polite staff member and a very nice simple looking shop.

Le Gourmand Bakery - Humber
Wanted some good sweets. I found it, but the service does not match the taste. Spoils it. The store is unkempt - Pizzaiolo next door shines in comparison. Both employees appeared to be annoyed by my presence and undecisiveness - the sooner I leave, the better. Applies to the location at 2897 Lakeshore B W as well. I wouldn't be coming back.

Super unimpressed with the pastries. Went there at 10am today thinking everything would be fresh and cut in to a mouldy raspberry tart shortly after. Super unhappy.

I love their desserts! They also have a variety of drinks available - one drawback though, is that the drink can be a miss, but mostly hit!

Le Gourmand Bakery recently opened this new location in Etobicoke. I've been a fan of their baked good for many years and still remember visiting their Yonge and Eglinton location (which has been shutdown years ago).This location is a smaller location, as its an express Cafe located across from Humber College.I love their French pastries and their world famous and award winning chocolate chips cookies. If you've never tried their cookies before it's a must try. Along with the chocolate chip cookie, they also have a chocolate walnut, white macadamian nut and a peanut butter cookie. All which are amazing.

I am so very happy this establishment exists. The following are the reasons I keep coming back:- Their cappuccinos are TOP notch as well as their backed goods. I personally love their Romeo and Juliet croissant, as well as the fruit Danish.- The bread baked is better than the bakery right next door (and it is very reasonably priced, thank you!)- The staff is always a pleasure to talk to.- The ordering window is nice, if one does not want to go in for whatever reason.My only wishes are:- To have a baked good of the month - for us regulars, the bakery menu is pretty stagnant, so having variety would be fun.- Make sour dough bread!- Add a gingerbread cookie.
