Kyle was referred to us by a colleague to give us a quote for painting our existing oak kitchen cabinets and doors. We had two other quotes prior to Kyle attending. Kyle showed up on time, was professional and provided us with we believed to be a fair quote. Kyle explained the process very well and provided us with realistic expectations, which we thought was very professional. Kyle was at the house each morning on time and if he had other obligations he would notify us in advance. At the end of each day he would ensure that the work area was tidy. I highly recommend Kyle. He painted every room in our home. Besides being a perfectionist with his work, Kyle was immaculate. He cared for our furniture and floors during the renovation as though they were his own. Very responsive as well as a very nice person who went above and beyond ( helping us move furniture around and rehang pictures).

First off I want to say that Kyle is one of the most easiest people to deal with. He shows up on time and is very organized. His quality of work is second to none. For many years we have been painting the inside of our house on our own. However, as our careers got busier, and the paint started to chip away, we realized it was time to ask someone to do this for us. Kyle Shiaman had renovated our basement which we were super happy with, and we decided to return to him for our painting needs. We were not disappointed! Not only did he do a fabulous job and painting the house inside and out, he also put up with me changing my mind on one of the colours, and was willing to do some sample paints on the exterior so we could really make the best selection. It's clear that having a professional do our paint job will mean longer lasting results which in the end saves time and money.We also asked him to do some carpentry in one of the rooms (install crown molding and some closet doors and install a ceiling fan). Our house is circa 1935 and nothing is level, yet Kyle managed to produce a really sharp product. I'm super happy with the results. The ceiling fan proved quite tricky, but together we came up with a good solution.Lastly, Kyle is a really nice person to work with. He has good taste and guided us through some decisions along the way. He kept everything tidy over the course of the job and was discreet while on the job so that we could continue to use our home for our COVID-19 WFH" lives.I highly recommend KSPainting for your next home job."
