They have no respect for people sleeping at 5:00am. How are you guys above the law? Do you know what lack of sleep does? Maybe I'll show up with a bat and break all the lights on the trucks. If there's no law for you guys, there's no law for me

I just wanted to thank the Team at Waste Connections of Canada - Ottawa for making my son's 5th birthday the most memorable experience of his life! :) He absolutely LOVES garbage trucks and all things to do with recycling/waste management so I called Customer Service and spoke with a lovely lady named Rachel who put me in touch with a fabulous group of folks here in Ottawa. I especially wanted to thank Cory, Ryan, Christina, and Travis for putting together a package of Garbage Truck 'essentials' for his birthday party and also for the fabulous Garbage Truck ride and Site Visit that you all provided our family! He was thrilled with this experience and so excited by seeing all the different types of garbage trucks, especially getting to ride in the 'front loader' and beeping the horn! I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for your excellent Customer Service and your effort put into making my son's birthday such a fun event in light of the limitations during Covid-19! We are echoing a previous post. As a independent business we rely onour garbage removal which is contracted to Waste Connections.They have been our service provider for many years and we had no concerns about the service until the last month and half.We have been in contact with Waste Connections several times to resolve problems with the changing pick up schedule and blocked access due to the changed schedule and a following $25 fee. Our rates have also gone up with no notice.We have been dealing with customer service here in Ottawa which frankly has been abysmal. The customer service rep has only helped to make thesituation worst and seems only to want to argue the legitimacy of the blocked garbage can charges.Looking forward to hearing from someone in management who cares to resolve the problems. As we also no longer have a sales rep to speak with.Not happy at all. This has been nearly 2 months and not resolved. Many hours wasted.

Don’t believe a single word their sales rep try to feed you. They would increase the price by 25% in a year and no one cares to reach you out, since they know you are bounded in a contract. We have pick up once a week and thats not even a full bin. I should have taken advice of my landlord more seriously who had past negative experience with them. DON’T FALL FOR ALL THE LIES THEY TELL YOU TRYING TO SIGN YOU THE CONTRACT. THEY LOW BALL THE PRICE AT FIRST THAN OTHER COMPETITORS AND THAN SUDDENLY WITHOUT ANY NOTICE WOULD INCREASE 20-25% .

Hard to believe all the 5 star reviews are real.Save yourself the headache and stay away from these guys unless you want to become one of their scam victims.The sales team is great with words and will offer you the world. They will convince you the company is great. They will get you to sign a contract and then they will never answer your call again.Once you're under contract, you will only talk to their customer service team. Their role is to tell you why your bin was “blocked”, which is a $25 charge each time. There’s many many reasons why the bin can be considered “blocked” : the 1mm (yes because that’s just too much snow to go over) of snow in front of the bin, the ground in front of the snow is wet, or god forbid not salted even if the ground is completely dry, rain makes the ground wet so it’s a safety hazard for them to walk on the driveway. Any number of reasons they can give you for not picking up.If you ask to cancel, they will laugh in your face because you signed a 5 year contract.I pity everyone who is in the same boat.

This company needs to be sued. They will damage your car with the steel bin containers, and will simply ignoring the fact even if you have concrete proof of that.

Can't say enough about Chris Evans' professionalism and care for his customers! He is a real-stand up guy, great to deal with. Definitely reccomend working with this company, he makes everything a smooth and seemless process.

They don't pick up their dumpster after 5 months the contractor finished the construction work.3339 Paul Anka Drive, Quarry co-op.

worst place to work for. crazy and unethical management and toxic work environment. don't recommend working for them at all.
