The food was great and the service was good too. The view is unbeatable. We shared the Flatbread with the bison on it and it was amazing. Great drink selection as well.

I selected the Spicy Clucker dish along with broccoli cheddar cheese and a side salad. I enjoyed my meal, although there was room for improvement in terms of food presentation. My plate had more grease than expected, which raised concerns about hygiene. On the other hand, my husband was satisfied with his fish and chips order. As for my mother-in-law, she liked the Oarseman dish to about 80%, but felt the topping meat was somewhat dry. The restaurant had a pleasant and lovely atmosphere, situated in the heart of Banff Ave.

Burger is average. I think the spicy chicken is the one. Pesto pasta, well too much Pesto and the sauce is over cooked, thus it broke, and run with butter... Onion ring is quite good. Be prepared to pay between $21 - $25 ca per person.

Cute pub with an amazing view of the mountains!Came here for their ‘elk day’ special Wednesday night and it did not disappoint!Had the elk tacos and the elk burgers. Food was fresh and delicious and came pretty fast, even though the place was busy. Impressive ☺️Service was friendly and efficient as well!

Incredible place, we have just arrived into Banff, searched for somewhere to eat and found this gem. Absolutely great experience, our waiter was fantastic, food was super tasty. Service was superb!Will definitely be going back to this place!

Awesome view from the patio. Elk tacos where great. I added a little salt and pepper, which was on the table. Elk burger, ravioli, and flat bread were all great. Our waitress was delightful, and could speak Bermise. The prices were good, and it was not very busy.

Disappointed in the food. Perhaps they have a new chef but the food lacked seasoning. The elk burger lacked basic salt and pepper. The sweet potatoe fries were good. The chicken poutine gravy lacked flavour. The bbq ribs sauce was good but the ribs themselves needed sesoning. The rooftop patio is amazing with amazing views of the mountains and downtown Banff. The coleslaw had to be sent back. My daugher had the steak tacos and she sakd it was good however i didn't get to try that so can't comment personally.

I’ve returned to Elk & Oarsman several times. Just went recently a few days ago & it never fails to impress. It’s my favourite place to get drinks as everyone I’ve gone with (including myself) love the “Hard Strawberry Lemonade”. Literally the best drink I’ve ever had. In the past, I’ve had the “Baked Chicken Parmesan”, which was also super delicious. The people here are also super kind and welcoming. I feel like you can’t go wrong coming here.

Lovely place right on Banff Ave with a patio and view of the mountains! I got Buck Hunter burger which is elk and bacon and it was delicious. The broccoli soup was good too. The fries were fine but not the best I've had. I like that you can choose 2 sides from a list to have with your burger to get more variety rather than just eating a whole bunch of fries. Good service, would recommend!

When I went to a bar in Banff, Canada with my friends, it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere of the bar was very cozy, making it the perfect place to interact with locals. The elk burger was made with fresh, juicy meat and had a rich and satisfying flavor. The beer selection was also extensive, with the local craft beers being particularly fantastic. The combination of drinks and food was exquisite and enhanced the overall deliciousness. The staff were kind and friendly, providing excellent hospitality. The time spent at the bar in Banff was enjoyable and memorable
