Loved our stay at this wonderful lodge. Our room faced the water and it was really nice to overlook the lake. Everything about this place is amazing! The people, rooms, decor, and restaurant food 1000%!!! I hope to return one day and highly recommend to anyone wanting a romantic lodge in the mountains!

My husband and I got married here on June 28, 2022. The room and view were unbelievably stunning!! Every single staff member who works here genuinely cares about your experience and they really help make the your stay perfect. They even gifted us champagne to celebrate!! The lodge offers breakfast and a small lunch each day and its not an average breakfast, its gourmet! We ordered our wedding dinner meal from the lodge restaurant, the food is really to die for. They even brought it to our room in a storm! We recommend the gnocchi! Our room had a slight leak (only because it was brand new & stormed, I assure you its been fixed) and they took care of our wedding meal for us. We can't thank the staff enough for their exceptional service, attention to guests details/needs and for really helping make our wedding day a day to remember. We can't wait to go back! Thank you everyone at Moraine Lake Lodge from the Lipka's!

We only did the canoe boat rental. We loved it. Was not much wind. Went to the far end to see the water falls (small) coming into the lake. Others can not get that p ic from the lake. Staff was great and the boats in great shape. We had a blast and will do it again!

Such a beautiful place to see. The mountains were so beautiful and the lake was a beautiful color. If you want to rent a canoe it's $150 for a half hour. If you can afford it go for it and take lots of pictures. A little disappointed that the Cafe restaurant was not open when I was there. The gift shop was nice.

This place is unbelievable.. I don’t have enough words to describe how incredible the location, the staff the service is. Yes it’s a high price point but if you think about all that you get, it’s so worth it . The canoe rental is included which otherwise costs $130 , breakfast, light lunch and tea in the evening are also included. The dinner is amazing here. Also the staff is so friendly and so full of Ideas and tips on what to do in the area. We told them we were celebrating something very special and they had a bottle of champagne and glasses with a hand written note when we got to our room. The food was really really good. I am gluten free and they made extra efforts to make sure that everything was GF and they had lots of food options. Sunrise is amazing and I highly recommend. Staying at the lodge, We didn’t have to fight the crowds for parking and could just casually stroll up to see the sunrise!! The public lot has about 150 parking spaces, and the parking lot gets filled up by 4/430 am ( so I hear) .. luckily starting at the lodge we had to do no crazy such thing.. we woke up at 5 and strolled on up. Was awesome! Everyone from the front desk top cleaning crew to serving staff were phenomenal. You can tell that that They really want to be there And love what they do!! . I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. Hopefully they have a repeat customer reward/ discount.

We had the most magical, amazing time here! It was definitely the most I have ever paid for lodging, but was well worth it. We booked the King Deluxe and had a direct view of the lake which was stunning. The cabin itself was spotless and seemed like everything was brand new. Being able to experience the lake in the evening after all the extra tourists were gone was what made it most worth it. During the day, the place is packed with people everywhere you turn, but around dinner time it clears out so that only people staying at the lodge remain (which is a low number). I would stay here again, despite the hefty price tag.

No kids allowed, take your family elsewhere!Since it doesn’t allow private cars to enter moraine lake , we choose to stay in the Moraine lake lodge with my 2 kids (3 and 4 years old) and my parents. So we booked a king cabin and a king bed room, and was been told next day that we can not stay there. The reason is “king cabin” can only have 3 guests and only 2 guests are allowed in the king bed room. They asked us to book 3 rooms instead of 2. We really wanted to visit the lake so we looked for the other option that maybe we can book 2 cabins and each cabin have 1 child. Then they said no again, this time they said the cabin can only accommodate 2 guests. I don’t understand why a $1000 hotel room can’t stand a kid with its own travel crib. SO, basically there’s no option for a family of 3 or more. Not kid’s friendly, not family friendly, very disappointed!

My favorite hotel in the world!!!!! This lodge is a gem and we cannot wait to return!!!!! The entire team was warm and wonderful to interact with. Before we arrived they had excellent communication regarding parking and dinner reservations. We arrived for a very late (after 11 pm) check in and Morgan went above and beyond and waited for us even though they had closed (and had directions ready for us to do self check in). The cabins are beautiful and have giant windows showcasing the lake and gorgeous scenery. The picture shows the view from our balcony. We loved the many amenities that made the lodge extra special: yummy chocolates and fireplace in our room; divine croissants and other complementary delicious, full service breakfast items; helpful hiking map and trails within walking distance from the lodge; soup and sandwich complementary lunches; complementary afternoon coffee/tea and freshly baked, warm cookies; complementary canoe rentals; and freshly baked bread at dinner. Being steps from Moraine Lake is a dream and we absolutely loved everything about the lodge and our stay. Thank you!! 100+ stars!!!!!

My family had a wonderful time at Moraine Lake Lodge. The rooms are comfy, the views are incredible, and the staff were warm and friendly. The best parts: The many great hikes. Our favorite was Larches Valley. The staff had lots of helpful advice about conditions and times. Sunrise was incredible, but plan to get up early. At 4:30am it was already getting light. Canoeing on the lake, which is free with your stay, is tons of fun.The worst parts: The area can get quite crowded with tourists streaming in on busses. Avoid the Pile of Rocks area at peak hours and it won't be too bad.The restaurant was excellent - the food, the service, and the views. It can be a bit slow, but that gives you more time to enjoy the experience.Coffee and tea in the room was nice, especially on the balcony overlooking the lake in the morning. And the Library, which hosts lunch and tea, is a great place to escape for a quiet moment.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This hotel lived up to its expectation and more. This was by far the favorite place on our honeymoon. We enjoyed a large king room with beautiful views of the lake. Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our first night there was an interpretive performance that talked about the local wildlife that was very entertaining and informative. Breakfast both days was delicious, also with excellent views of the lake. Afternoon tea is provided between 3 and 5 PM usually with warm cookies. If you’d like there are also guided hikes starting at 9 AM for the guests. We also went out on the canoes, which are complimentary for the guests. We were also able to do an incredible hike to Larch Valley which I highly recommend to anyone visiting. The views of the 10 peaks are breathtaking. Despite the high price point, for the remote location, the views, the excellent service, I really can’t argue why it’s not worth it. We also visited their sister property Cathedral mountain lodge in Yoho which is also worth a visit!
