My pet Potato has been to Modern Pet Grooming for more than 10 years . Janet, the owner, is very professional, friendly, caring & responsible!She has great care for pets & very knowledgeable for taking care of them . She is willing to give us advice & recommendation when my dog had ear / skin problems.I’m extremely happy with her professional service she provided, and love the way she treated my dog. I definitely recommend her to my families and friends. Good job Janet !

We have been coming to Janet at Modern Pets for a number of years for grooming with my previous dog and the experience was always fantastic.Our current dog is not generally comfortable outside of her own environment, but Janet takes the time and effort to make my dog feel right at home, and will even give her breaks while grooming when needed.We are thankful to have a caring and patient person grooming our previous and current dogs.

Janet does an amazing job with our Australian Shepherd. Our dog is always excited to see her and seems to have a good time there. Our dog always looks and smells amazing after her grooming session. I didn’t know that our dog could look so nice! She also smells fresh for a few weeks after grooming. It’s refreshing to see someone who is so passionate about her job. Thank you!

Our dog has grown up with Janet since Modern Pets opened up shop. She is a nurturing and patient groomer with lots of professional experience with a variety of dog breeds in a comfortable environment. Our dog can be quite tricky to handle, but Janet always manages to calm him down and he is always happy whenever he enters... plus he plays with her goldens! We can drop our dog off confidently with Janet and have him come back looking sharp. Highly recommend!

The groomer/owner (Janet) is very caring and attentive to our needs. She delivers professional service and expert advice. My dog has a few problem areas which Janet has brought to our attention, and she helped find solutions on how to care for my dog at home.I am also very satisfied with the boarding service offered at Janet's place. She treats every pet as her own family member. She would allow our pets to have a lot of freedom while boarding at her place. My dog has boarded there before and we would be updated with the latest pictures and videos. I appreciate this service as it helps me worry less and I know that my dog is in good hands. I would recommend this place for everyone because your pets will feel at home. The price is reasonable and you will definitely get your money's worth!

I've been taking my dogs here 7 years ago for grooming, training and boarding. I am extremely pleased with how well taken care of my dogs are. I never have to worry when my dogs are in Janet's care because I know they will have fun playing with his buddies. They will look handsome after their treatment there. Prices are also very reasonable. The staff are also very professional. Overall, a great place to visit and I would highly recommend it to everyone!

Absolutely terrible! I left my dog there for trial boarding and even paid a fee. They did not know how to handle an energetic and excited dog and locked him in a room for 3 hours instead of trying to get him acclimated. They called us to take him back then requested we pay the fee for a whole day when they were the ones who could not handle a working dog. They even tried to blame us for not bringing appropriate toys when our K9 trainer approved of the toy! I wouldn’t trust their expertise with a large dog. Who knows how long they will be abused for during boarding. Extremely disappointed!!!Part 2:Yes we just paid you $75 for full day boarding this past summer when you could not handle the half day and requested to bring him home. I only learned you treated my dog this way as my mother was the one who dropped him off. If you cannot handle the job, don’t take it. And don’t make people pay for what you could not do!
