This was my first experience. While I really wanted to leave a 5 star review, a few things needed improvement.To start, I had an incredible Insalata Caprese. Featured photos. Easily the best I've had both in flavor and in presentation. Great work chef!!I am Celiac so I had the gluten free pasta in the seafood Alfredo sauce. I requested a notch more garlic. The dish came out and it was incredible. Absolutely I would order this again.The fallen star come to the dessert. Sadly the gelato portions are very small and very high priced. We ordered the taramisu. It was defrosted, with a soggy base dressed in whipped cream. It was not good. The plate remined full when it was taken away.The service was wonderful, the meal great, the desserts and selection were not good.I'll be back but suggest more dessert options.

Honestly for the price and quality. One of the best meals I have had for lunch in a long time. Was so good. Service was so warm and friendly as well. Must try

Great place for Italian food. First time there and I will absolutely go again.My sister in law had the Penne Rustici and I tried the Rotini Con Pollo Alfredo. Delicious! Server was wonderful and the restaurant is charming. If you like Italian food you should definitely give it a try.

Tasty Tomato was in fact tasty! I really enjoyed the calamari! The sauce was delicious and the calamari tasted fresh. The fettuccine was also great! I enjoyed it thoroughly! Great local Italian spot to check out!

The meals are simple and delicious. I love their housemade pasta. The service was friendly and efficient. Tasty Tomato doesn't have a huge dining room, but it is a lovely setting. I appreciate not having loud music to compete with and it is easy to get seating if you book ahead or come close to opening.

Seafood linguine was no good. We live in alberta get over it. Wine was good gnocchi, ravioli, chicken parm . Spot on prices were fair services were good.

The pasta here is so delicious! The service is also great. Restaurant is clean. Prices are reasonable for what you get!

A cozy neighbourhood restaurant, owned by the same family for almost 30 years. The food never disappoints and the owners and staff are so warm and accommodating. It’s always so busy on the weekends but they work hard to squeeze people in and not keep you waiting, but definitely call ahead to reserve a table!

I feel like tasty tomato s may be a wee bit of a stretch, I would call it “okay tomato”. Our server was lovely enough, but unless you are perhaps an older adult, the restaurant, it’s menu, and flavour profiles are mediocre. Everything was just okay. While their prices reflect the year 2023, I don’t believe the food does. I am glad that I went, just to experience a piece of Edmonton history, but I don’t think I will be going back for pasta anytime soon

As the photos well show we were hungry! The bruschetta is like no other in town, so tasty on a pizza bread & so easy to devour with that addictive garlic tomato blend. If you like mussels the tomato Gorgonzola sauce makes you reach for the bread to soak it up! As for the two linguine dishes well all I can say we’ll be back soon. Very friendly staff & great service!!
