The young man working at the Rideau Store location this evening had a serious case of bad attitude".The company should consider training their staff; not only good basic manners

Was only window shopping but was greeted once I entered by a lovely female staff, ready with a smile and any possible assistance, definitely come back here for those boots.

I had a virtual gift card and it took them 20mn to finalize the transaction. All I got was an apology, but I would have appreciated a small gesture, anything. Especially when you're in a rush

What Canadian doesn't love Roots? They have lots of comfortable clothing, especially, t-shirts, hoodies, sweats, leather goods, etc. Adorable clothing items for children and infants. This particular store had a good layout, items plentifully in-stock, and helpful staff. If you're a tourist from outside of Canada, you should check it out and sample Canadian-made clothing. The quality is really good ;)

Popular and iconic" Canadian sweatshirt store with famous beaver logo. A bit pricey for quality that seems to have slipped over the years. Still

Ordered online used express shipping 18.00. They use Canada Post so it took a week to get here. Please Roots use Intelcomm delivery and another service more efficient than Canada Post

I have no opinion with Roots but I think there is something wrong with this location. After two times of bad experience with their staff here, now it's time for me to leave a comment. The first time the staff was very unwilling to find my size. Then the second time the staff (not the same one) asked me what she could help. I asked if there were any t-shirts with ottwa or toronto logos, she just said all our shirts were here and walked away (as if she had to say something to me but were not willing to help). Excellent. Then I left and will never come back to this location again.

I don’t often give one stars but with reason I do.I have no issues with the products, the brand or the location. My biggest issue coming in this store specifically was the employees, exactly Thursday 17 Mar around 4-6 pm.My mother, who’s older, politely asked an employee if she was in the female section as the sweatpants all looked the same. This employee had short dark hair and the way they responded to my mom, to me came across so careless and definitely not good customer service.I even felt like saying something but figured it was not worth my time. It felt like this employee was more interested in hanging out by the cash with the blond hair employee that was there than to assist customers. May I also add, the store was not busy and had us plus 1 more person.I wish for you in the future, you take your customers more into consideration and I’m sorry if you don’t enjoy doing so but that’s a principle of working in sales.
