CANADA POST IS SO BAD IT IS REDICULOUS!!!WHY CAN I NOT PHONE A CERTAIN POST OFFICE. IT IS SUGGESTEDI TAKE THE TIME OFF WORK TO TRAVEL 2 HOURS TO GET/2 HRS BACK,... TO THAT POST OFFICE SO I CAN ACTUALLY.........TALK TO A REAL HUMAN BEING. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN I AM TOLD. THIS PISSES ME OFF TERRIBLY. WHAT HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM CANADA POST BECAUSE YOU REALLY DO HAVE A SERIOUS ISSUES FOR SURE. U ARE POTENTIALLY GOING ON STRIKE TO DISRUPT THE REST OF CANADA, SO YOU CAN GET MO MONEY AND MO BENEFITS, WHEN YOU ARE SO SO SO WELL LOOKED AFTER COMPARED TO MOST. STRESS LEAVE,...GIVE THE REST OF US CANADIANS A BREAK WITH YOU PETTY COMPLAINTS WHEN YOUR BENEFITS AND PROTECTION ARE EXUBERANT COMPARED TO THE REST OF CANADA. MIGHT GET A HANG NAIL AND NEED SOME TIME OFF. WE GET IT. BUT WHY CAN I NOT TALK TO A CERTAIN PERSON AT A CERTAIN POST OFFICE. PATHETIC AT BEST. I WILL NOT BE SUPPORTING YOUR STRIKE IN ANY WAY. SPOILED BABIES CRYING FOR MORE.....SHAME ON U..

Two older lady employees there are rude, curt, unhelpful and dismissive. Very, very bad vibe, not sure what their problem is or why they get away with this in a public service customer service position in sweet little sleepy Chemainus. Super disappointing.

I am a 72 year old First Nations man ,I watched the desk jockey laugh and smile to everyone she delt with .Expression ,voice, timber and attitude changed to snarl. I was now a not so smart 12 year old boy been treated by a bully. This was the 3 rd time i was treated this way. A people position, hmm maybe a White" people position.. I cannot give it less than 1 star.. it deserves -6"

Have always had professional service from these Canada Post employees. I was in recently wanting to send a small parcel to the US, was told I could not send it as a letter if it had anything other than paper in it (which it did). I threw a little hissy fit and was going to walk out when the woman behind the counter took the time to explain to me that even if I could find a less experienced postal employee at another outlet to take it as a letter, it would be turned back at the border. What she said made perfect sense, I went back and sent my small package correctly. I really appreciate her calm, professional manner and her expertise based on years of experience. We are lucky to have this level of experience in Chemainus.

I send parcels often to Ontario and the U.S. The staff at the Chemainus post office have always been exceedingly helpful and professional in their advice as to how I should package my gifts. I am very grateful for their kindness and expertise.

Very helpful staff . I had inadvertently used a no longer valid PO Box number and via simple phone call the person I talked to very helpfully agreed to intercept the shipment and posting a note on the PO side of the box to call me to be sure other staff knew of the arrangement. Great, friendly staff.
