Dr Hemant Shirali

Have been working alongside Dr. Shirali office for over a year now and cannot say enough good words about the staff that surrounds his practice. His receptionist goes above and beyond patients and Dr. Shirali really cares about every person they work beside and see. They are very helpful despite the incredible wait times for surgery.

Hi, i Ioved my experience at Dr Shirali's office. His staff, especially his office manager is super nice, very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I have been to many of dr offices and with covid people have to understand all our front liners are working hard to help us, we need to be patient. And with an amazing specialist like dr Shirali, it's a long wait to get even a consultation and surgery, it's understandable.

After doing some internet research, a few weeks back we went and consulted Dr Hemant Shirali for my wife's knee. My wife has acute osteoarthritis in both her knees. Dr. Shirali reassured us and suggested a treatment plan of physio and injections before moving to surgery. As per the plan we have begun the physio and today Aug 31,2022 we had the gel injection in both knees. Before taking the injections we did research and read reviews about the pain of the injection. However, our experience with Dr. Shirali has been absolutely amazing! Dr Hemant Shirali administered the injection so well. There is no pain and she is comfortably walking and managing her work. Dr. Shirali is an outstanding expert. He is extremely knowledgeable and confident on the subject matter. We have felt extremely safe in his hands. Besides, Dr. Shirali's office staff, Pinky and the front desk support are efficient, responsive and kind. Based on our experience with Dr. Shirali we strongly recommend him for an effective and comforting treatment for an otherwise painful ailment.

This doctor is very skilled, my entire family goes to him and he does a great job. 10/10 would recommend.

The doctor is very professional and very knowledgable. During the emergency situation, he made my family feel confident and comfortable about coming here. He took time to explain the process and answered all my questions. After the procedure, he followed up on patient’s progress and ensured he was well. His genuineness made me feel right about coming here and I absolutely recommend the Doctor.

This review has nothing to do with the doctor, but to do with her assistant.My mother was referred to Dr Shirali and I called to find out when my mother would have her appointment. Her assistant goes off on a tangent talking about the fact that there is a one and a half year wait to see the Doc, it would take a few weeks or so to even get a call back etc. All of a sudden, the assistant properly examined the documents which my mom's family doctor had sent over and admitted that she was mistaken and that she would send the referral into Markham Stouffville Hospital and that I'd have to follow up MSH to get an appointment. The receptionist or whomever it was that I spoke with was REAL snappy and condescending. I let it go thinking she may be having a bad day. May be overwhelmed with work etc.I call MSH a few days later as directed. Within a 2 day period of time, I have called 7 times and all I get is their voicemail.I called Dr. Shirali's office again, get the receptionist who was a co-op student that said she'd have someone give me a call right back.The same person whom I spoke with a few days prior to calls me back. I simply called to make sure the referral was sent. She goes off on the same tangent.... 1.5 year wait, weeks to get a call back... But she didn't even hear my question. All I wanted to know is if the referral was sent as I could not get through to MSH. TOTALLY condescending. We went at it for a bit as I could not tolerate her unprofessional demeanor any longer. I wish that these calls are recorded for QUALITY purposes... Because some serious work needs to be done there.Newsflash.... I am a customer and you treat your customers with Respect. Especially when I was not being rude to begin with.I haven't even met Dr Shirali yet. I am sure she is a great orthopedic surgeon. I feel extremely bad for leaving a 1 star rating... But the conversation I had today with this employee of yours completely ruined my day and it is imperative you get this feedback from a client in order to improve.I truly hope this message reaches Dr Shirali. I will update this review once I know action has been taken and I may consider giving out a better rating.I've tried calling the office to tell you this over the phone, but I keep getting your voicemail!Thank you.

Dr. Shirali and his team are amazing ,very friendly and professional!!!! I had a full hip replacement surgery on Jul, it did go very well, his office manager is in angel without wings ,they follow up with their patients ... i can not thank enough, thank you to Dr. shirali and his amazing team ..God bless

In my 80 years on this earth I've never had reason to write a review but my experience with Dr Shirali and his extraordinary team compelled me to do so. I required surgery to repair my knee and from the moment I connected with Dr Shirali's receptionist and throughout the subsequent operation, his team performed well beyond my expectations. Many times as patients, we are very anxious and worry too much. Dr. Shirali' clinic professionally handled my queries and facilitated my pre-surgery needs.I am impressed.My knee surgery was performed on 24th March by Dr. Shirali. It was so brilliantly done that I was able to skip many post operative challenges. I was able to walk without walker on 12 th day, and without cane by 5th week, least swelling and impressive recovery.
