A & P Chinese Food Express

Our family has been ordering from A and P for a long time. The food is always fresh tasting, delivered hot, and it is great to support a local family business.

Having passed by this restaurant many times, I have wondered if it's worth trying out.We gave it a chance one night. The restaurant is exclusively take out only as there is a counter but no seating area. This works well especially during the pandemic.We wanted to try their Prawns Chow Mein and Salt and Pepper Pork Loin. We only had to wait 15 mins for our food.The Prawns Chow Mein had crispy chow mein with plenty of veggies and prawns. The sauce was flavorful which was an issue we had with other Chinese restaurants.The Salt and Pepper Pork Loin was deep-fried battered pork pieces. The spice level was good and the flavor was tasty.We actually ordered from them again within a week. Can't wait to try more dishes!

Great value, taste and friendly service. Couldn’t ask for more from a neighbourhood Chinese takeout.

Amazing portions. We had enough for two dinners with 4 people for $80. (Discount if you pay with cash) Tons of nice veg too. Picture doesn’t really show how full the containers were. Stuffed! Highly recommend.

A & P Chinese Food Express has been our go to Chinese food restaurant in our neighbourhood for many years and they have never failed to impress us with their delicious dishes. The portions are always generous and arrive on time and hot! We especially enjoy their crisp salt and pepper squid, ginger beef, mushroom chop suey and pineapple sweet and sour chicken, but have tried numerous other dishes from the menu and enjoyed them all. If you need a Chinese food fix, give them a try.

Just had our first experience with A&P. Delivery was on time. Driver was friendly. Food was surprisingly warm since we live about 15km from the store. As far as taste, this was the best tasting Chinese food we've eaten since we moved to Alberta a year ago. We're now hooked on A&P.
