Kiddies Daycare Centre

If I could put zero stars I would. My son has always liked going to school. A few months in he was clinging to me and hated going. That was my first red flag. They encourage your child to nap for 2.5 hours hours even if they haven’t napped in years so they can “get done what they need to do”. My son had to sit on his “bed” the entire time most days and they would pat his back to sleep, coaching him to nap. They would write down he didn’t nap when he would tell me he eventually fell asleep because he was bored. They seem understaffed and the children are often running around acting crazy when I pick up. There was construction on the building in the summer and instead of taking the children to the nearby playground, they kept them inside all day on beautiful summer days. I complained and they said they would take them but never did. They do not do much physical activity at all. I came early one day and they were watching a screen. My son said it was a bible story. The last straw was when my son informed me a teacher twisted and pulled his ear to discipline him for being loud at nap time!!!!! He has never witnessed or seen this happen to anyone in his life before. When I spoke to the director she was very unprofessional with me. She scolded me saying my son was in the wrong and made up the whole thing. Quote “do you know what your son does at nap time?!” They’re supposed to be professional childcare providers but putting the blame on my son was another red flag that they’re covering something up. Unfortunately I will never know exactly what happened but that was enough for me to never send him back. I would never recommend this facility. I’m writing this review to warn other parents as they seem to only have great reviews but my experience was very traumatic. He has been in a new school and it is night and day from this one. I’m told by all his new teachers how well behaved and sweet he is, as I’ve always known. Find a better facility. They seem great at a glance, but look closer.

I absolutely love this centre, the teachers and the director are amazing, hardworking and very interactive with the kids. They went the extra mile to make my daughter settle and adjust when she first started, now she loves going to the centre. The food and learning activities are also great I see my daughter learning new skills. The director Lorna is very understanding, she listens and she is always ready to work with whatever your situation is I like her flexibility. I totally recommend this centre you will not regret it.

Lorna and her team are excellent teachers and caregivers. Our experience with them has been positive, and appreciate that they communicate routinely each day with updates and photos of our daughter. Lorna took extra time to address our concerns and needs with our daughter and made arrangements to accommodate her needs. We highly recommend this daycare.

Couldn't be happier with the caring and capable teachers at Kiddies. Ms Karen is compassionate and trustworthy, just like all the staff who care for our little one day-to-day. We trust their nutritious meals, safe environment, and happy learning every day for our toddler! The transition to starting daycare is always difficult, but the staff at Kiddies made it as smooth as possible for our family. Within only a couple weeks, our little one was happy and well-integrated. There is a strong sense of community at the centre, and the consistently open communication goes a long way in helping parents feel involved in their child's care even during busy work days. Very grateful to have found this hidden gem!

My child was about 10 months old when she started here. They take so much care of her. I could see that they genuinely loved my child. Definitely one of the best daycares!!!

My daughter has been going here for the past 3 months, and i have no complaints or regrets. Great teachers, clean environmentShe has been more active since she started the daycare. And they are always attentive to the kids. I highly recommend Kiddies daycare NW

As new parents, choosing daycare for our 1-year-old daughter was not easy, but in this place we have seen how she has adapted and learned new things. Grateful for the care and affection that she receives from her teachers, an excellent place

This is hands down the best daycare in Calgary. I’m not one for reviews but this place deserves it. The teachers are kind and patient. They are really making a big impact in the life of these kids. When I do pick up, my kid isn’t ready to go home. That is the best sign ever. Thank you so much to all the teachers, I really appreciate you all.

Finding this daycare is one of the best thing that happened to us when we moved to Calgary. We wanted a place where our kids can grow in the love of God and get home like care, we got both here and much more. Our son graduated and he is now in grade 1, he loved this place.Our daughter is currently in the center and she is having a great time. The caregivers are dedicated and genuinely care about the kids. They teach them gospel songs, Bible stories, mathematics, writing, reading.Its a complete package. I have recommended this place to my friends and they brought their kids also. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.
