Now a go to lunch spot! Yummy pizzas. Love their Brie + Prosciutto. Super friendly staff too.

If you were to compare this place with Joe's Pizza (which is one block away), I would definitely choose Joe's. They offer exactly the same kind of pizza but overall quality and atmosphere is nicer at Joe's.

The quality of the ingredients really stand out and the place gets extra points for unique presentation. Prices are also reasonable, but moreso if you order a larger pizza to share with a group. I would also say taking it to go is preferable with a group of people because although a seating area is available, it's not the most comfortable over a long period of time. My only other comment would be that service behind the counter could be more organised; different people responded to me and didn't seem to understand that I had already been served leading to confusion as to who is getting which item. Behind the counter staff should make routines to ensure all orders from one person are registered with the same staff member and preferably paid for too, to avoid communication lag.

It looked great so I decided to try. It was $5.25, a little on the high end, compared to the countless $2-$3 slices that are everywhere in Vancouver, but I certainly didn't mind paying for quality. IT WAS THE SMALLEST PIECE OF PIZZA I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! It was this tiny little rectangle that slid around in the box. I would say the dimensions we 2 x 6". Literally three big bites and it could be gone. I looked aground at others sitting eating and noticed their pieces seemed to be somewhat larger. So I asked if this was the proper portion size

Pizza crust was crisp and airy light. Toppings were fresh, I had pepperoni and mushroom slice. Music was upbeat and not overly loud which was good. TV was off which I thought odd. The front window seating area was not wiped and overly sticky, so much so that napkins stuck to surface. I was the only one in the place and there was a odd odor throughout the place like a chemical smell so I ate quickly and left. Not sure I'll be back.

One of my new favourites... pizza toppings are delicious and I love how they make their crust. I don't normally eat all the crust on pizzas but it's so good here. Some folks complaining about the price but I don't find it expensive for what you're getting - fresh ingredients and gourmet pizza flavour. If you want cheap, stick to Pizza Hut. Their service is also exceptional and keeps me going back.

Free automatic Wifi, Open late night, will delivery to all/ most suburbs for a small delivery fee. Kind staff, bar style group seating, no public washrooms but a wicked awesome location in Gastown. Close to the main tourist street as well as other easily accessible eats and gifts in the area. Vegan & Gluten Free menu coming soon! Order from the menu or create your own; but double check the the choices of sauce and 'extras' it can get confusing the. leaving you with a pizza you might not have understood you ordered.... Cool stop- Thanks guys

As an Italian (who's lived many years across Europe and Italy) I can safely say this is as Italian as it gets in Vancouver and probably the rest of North America, although I haven't been around there. It's obvious that there is a lot of time involved in the pizza's preparation and only quality ingredients are used. It's a bit pricier that other neighboring pizzerias but it's definitely worth the money in my opinion :) Good job Stretch!
