Ron Willmot Piano and Flute Studio
My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Ron Willmot since she was four years old. She is now 13 and he has been an amazing teacher. It is the best 30 minutes of my entire week. The hot cup of tea, cozy couch with magazines to perusal and the sound of the piano in the background is music to my ear. Also Ron is patient and excellent with my daughter. She is always asking him music related stories questions and he encourages and praises her inquisitive mind and response with great insight to her inquiry.

My daughters - now 10 & 13- have been taking weekly lessons with Ron for the last 2 years & we cannot say enough nice things about this man! His talent, patience & demeanour make him the PERFECT teacher. Ron allows the girls huge freedom when it comes to choosing their pieces & this keeps them engaged & enthusiastic. I can honestly say that they look forward to their piano lessons every time. He has helped them become terrific little pianists. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Every Saturday, I go with my family to Ron’s piano lessons. My brother who never was really Interested in piano, is now playing popular theme songs and learning many unique and different songs! He is excited to come every week, and loves to show off new songs he has created. Ron encourages My brother to play to his full potential, and inspirires him to keep pushing himself forward. Ron is very welcoming, and very calm. I believe that him and my brother have bonded, and the way he teaches is just outstanding. He is the best piano teacher I have ever seen, and I would highly recommend him.

Ron is an amazing piano teacher. He is so patient and kind to my two daughters. They absolutely adore him! They enjoy their weekly piano lessons and cant wait to go. Ron has been teaching for many years and is quite talented! He is such a kind and loving man - we are lucky to have found him! I have had my two boys working with Ron for a number of years now - before the pandemic, during the pandemic and now... Ron works online with my boys and it works well, working on music they enjoy, spending time to get to know both of them and understanding their goals and helping them to get there. if you're concerned about doing lessons online - don't, Ron does a great job!

Ron is a excellent piano teacher who has great patience and understanding. Over the years Ron has taught all 3 of my kids including myself and fostered of love of piano and music in all. Now my eldest has her own piano and wants to teach my Granddaughter. Ron also has a excellent music library. If he doesn't have the music he will get it for you.

My two boys have been taking piano lessons with Ron for just over one year and have excelled so much. They had never played piano before but now know more about the instrument and ‘love it’. He has taught them to enjoy music as well as to understand notation, fluency, tempo, etc. in an enjoyable way that makes them ‘want’ to play. He has them listen to a variety of music selections and helps them to pick pieces that will be slightly challenging but appropriate for their comfort level. Ron is personable and hospitable and an excellent musician! He comes HIGHLY recommended from our family.

We were looking for a piano teacher that would involve our daughter and teach her as an individual. We saw a friends daughter play and knew that her teacher had something we were looking for. Ron is very accommodating and has tremendous respect for every child. He teaches popular music which makes learning fun for the students and a joy for parents to hear during practice sessions. Between Ron's weekly classes and daily practice to reinforce his lessons, we've seen unimaginable talent from our nine year old in a short period of time.

My daughter has been playing with Ron for 2 years, and still loves to come. Every lesson she is inspired with some new musics, skills and little chats about not only the piano itself, but also some history, some trends, and some pieces Ron is working on. Piano, as a musical instrument, is more than a tool to play, but also a way to keep a passion for life. Highly recommended, especially for those who want to quit. Give him a trial before say bye bye to piano!
