Bought a certified pre-owned" 2010 Ferrari California from VFC in March. Didn't receive it for 2 months. Upon receipt and inspection it had more than $100k worth of repairs required pass out of province inspection. After weeks of negotiating a refund with Max Dera at VFC I was told i could trade it back for what i paid but not for my cash. I could however trade its value against any of their other inventory or anything else for sale in the market i could point to that they could try to work a deal on. I wasn't interested in any of their other inventory. I asked Max to pursue multiple other options from other dealers for me. After over a month of waiting on another option it was clear this was going no where. Max then told me that if i picked something else from his inventory and didn't like it they would "find me whatever i wanted and take it back". So i agreed to take a 2012 Audi R8 GT Spyder from their inventory and wrote an additional check taking me from $120k cash to $165k. After receiving the Audi at the end of August (more than 5 months after i wrote my first check) it was immediately clear that i didn't fit in the Audi R8 GT Spyder given i'm 6'3 250lbs (which i mentioned on numerous occasion prior to buying) and asked Max to take it back and get me a Mercedes G550 4x4 G squared from another dealer. He told me he had that done and i needed to provide my drivers license and SIN# and a business card so i did. The car sold to someone else for reasons that are unclear to me. I then found my own G squared locally. Rather than refund my purchase price and take the car back Max offered to pay me $7500 back representing 50% of the profit he made selling me the Audi a month before. I still haven't seen my $7500 and i'm just getting the same perpetual run around.... I could go on....but suffice to say
